How to reach Wayanad from Pune

Pune to Wayanad by air

The airport closest to Wayanad is Kozhikode Calicut International Airport (CCJ). It is located at a distance of 65 km from Wayanad. There is no direct flight from Pune to Wayanad. Therefore, the travelling time varies.

By road, Wayanad is 978 kilometers from Pune. Reaching Wayanad by bus means, you have to reach Kalpetta bus stand. There is no direct bus from Pune to Wayanad. You have to reach Bangalore by taking bus from Pune. From Bangalore, many Kerala SRTC and Karnataka SRTC buses, plus private bus runs to Wayanad. The total time taken is 22 hours. If you plan to drive, then the time taken is same- 21 hours. It is advisable to book a cab from Bangalore and travel up to Bangalore by a train or a flight.
