Ankur's 8 days trip to North East

We got our holiday to Assam-Meghalay done via IMITY Travels. Priti Pathak was our agent for our trip. Good Part 1. Imity/Prity was very approchable and remained in regular touch with us. Though we never met in person. 2. CAB Driver for 7-8 days HIRAK was very huble and polite. Drove exceptionally well on the tough terrains of Meghalaya. 3. Prity worked out the itineray and helped us with slight modifications. 4. We could call her at any point of time and she always replied courteously. PainFul Part - There are MANY 1) The HOTELs booking - it was almost never confirmed in all the places of Guwahati-Shillion-Cherrapunji . We got a shock of life when on landing in SHILLONG after 24 sleepless hours of journey from PUNE - Sapphire Hotel (Shillong) receptionist told that there was no booking in our name. After lots of arguements with PINKI-NARGIS (imity) it was somehow done - eating away 2 hrs on the road. 2) All hotels - we had horrible time in getting a BIG FAMILY room as we were 2 Adults , 1 14yrs Son and 8 yr old Daughter - This was told upfront but every where we given small room and only after multiple arguments we got what we needed. 3) Very Basic hotels - Specially in Shillon , CherraPunji the quality of hotels was below average - Not sure what do you call a 3 or 4 STAR hotel.. the hotels given to us were very basic BUDGET hotels. I felt cheated for the price we paid verses the hotels given to us. 4) We had booked the package 1 mth in advance (in 3 APRIL) but we found that NONE of the BOOKING were actually done. All were done when we LANDED at the door steps of HOTEL. This is highly unprofessional of IMITY . 5) Imity travels never shared with us any confirmation vouchers of any hotels - they have shared only a document listing the hotel names. We kept on asking for BOOKING confirmation - but it was never SHARED. 6) We changed 3 hotels in SHILLONG - Imity trying to adjust the COSTs and covering up their BOOKING GAPS - we suffered lifting our luggage and fighting for bigger rooms all places. 7) CAB Quality - A very BADLY maintained HYUNDAI ACCENT was given which broke on the very first day of our trip from GUWAHATI-SHILLONG. Then it was repaired day after. Still the CAB was in very bad shape. Driver never cleaned up the CAR for the entire 8 days. Given a choice WE WILL NOT RECOMMEND IMITY TRAVELS to ANYONE. Even though Prity tried her level best and was very supportive - her sheer lack of experience was EXPOSED big time. We noticed the same with our fellow TOURIST of hotels in Guwahati and Shillong as well that this unprofessionalism is faced by them as well Only Saving grace was our Driver HIRAK, who was very supportive and behaved nice. Always on time. Only thing is - driver could be more enterprising and should work with torurist to understand their taste and what works for them - rather than just sticking to a DEFINED ITINERARY.

Apurva's 5 days trip to Nainital

The trip arrangements were good. Ms. Neha was very prompt and kind right from the trip booking. Most importantly she was one phone call away if we need anything. Hotel chosen at Nainital was Dynasty resorts. I had checked the google reviews and it showed 3.5 stars so I gave confirmation to Neha. But the hotel experience was not good. Hotel staff is not caring. Looking at the hotel delux room cost, services provided are very less. I'll never recommend this hotel to anyone. Also, it is 10km away from Nainital view points so unnecessary your travel time increases. The Corbett view resort at Jim Corbett was nice. Staff was good and I'll give full marks to maintained cleanliness in surroundings and in rooms too. We were provided with delux room. There were huts also and we were not informed about room type. If we had known earlier about huts, I would have chosen hut stay. But anyways, our stay was comfortable, food was tasty and overall the hotel area is very nice. I would like to exclusively mention about the taxi and driver arrangements. There is one plus point and one improvement about taxi arrangements. As per the policy, driver details are shared to you one day before your trip. But in our case it was little late response. Our flight was scheduled at 11pm from Pune and we were supposed to reach delhi next day 2AM. We received taxi driver details around 9.30pm that day. So, I think this can be improved so that customer is not worried about all this. Plus point is, driver was too good. No complaints. Very humble and very punctual. Thank you so much chintu ji. Overall trip experience was good. Thank you team.

GUJRAT TRIP from 9 to 14 Feb 2020 : We have booked 6D/5N trip for 6 Sr Citizens from 9 Feb to 14 Feb 2020 through TT / DH . The over all trip has been good & we visited Ahmedabad , Jamnager , Dwarka , Bet Dwarka , Porbandar , Somnath & Diu . The Driver Mr Bharat Bhai has been very co-operative & caring . Hotel Carrefour at Ahmedabad & Rainbow Resort at DIU were good . Hotel The Grand Dwraka in Dwarka & Hotel Heritage in Veraval - Somnath were average . Mr Amin Mansuri from Diu Holidays did good planning for the trip & most of our concerns raised during booking / after booking were properly addressed by him so that our trip has been executed properly without any issue . DH Mr Mansuri should be more responsive in attending phone calls / replying whats app messages in time . In TT , trip guide kept on changing ( Ms. Himani Dhami to Mr Jayant Singh ) & convenience fee of Rs.500/ charged by TT could be known only at the time of making payment against payment invoice of DH/TT ( TT fee should have been shown / included at the time of submitting offers by the Agents of DH ). Sujit's 6 days trip to Kashmir

It was a wonderful and memorable trip to Kashmir in winter (last week of January 2020) . We enjoyed a lot during the trip in winter as we witnessed snow fall during Jan. Starting from reception to hotels to guidance on trip, Raes bhai helped a lot in planning the trip. He came to meet us at the hotel to discuss on any issues we were facing which is really commendable. The best part was the run-time changes to the hotel taken care by Raes bhai due to my daughter's health at Gulmarg. We went to Srinagar->Sonmarg -> Gulmarg -> Pahelgam. Each place was wonderful and different. Ajaz bhai (driver) helped us a lot in terms of where to get what ( Dry fruits and other Kashmiri's items) and bargaining tips :) which is really helped us. I would recommend everyone visiting Kashmir to plan their trip with Travel Home. Thank you Raes bhai, Mir bhai and Ajaz bhai. Sujit Kumar Pandey - Pune - Maharashtra
