By Road: The bus journey between Kolkata and Maharashtra is the most inexpensive mode of transportation, however, it is not the most comfortable one. Kolkata to Maharashtra distance is 1898 km via a road that will take nearly 27-28h. If time is not an issue for you then you can surely board a bus from Kolkata to Mumbai, Pune, Shirdi, Nagpur, and Kolhapur and head to your destination from there.
