How to Reach Penang Hill in Penang

If you are wondering how to go to Penang Hill, the best way to reach there is via taxi. You can hire a taxi from GeorgeTown or Batu Ferringhi, which may cost you about RM 20 or RM 30 respectively.

Once you reach the spot, it is easy to map the summit of Penang Hill. There are two ways to reach the hilltop.

By Penang Hill Railway: The best way to get to the hilltop is via a funicular railway, i.e. a cable car. It takes around half an hour to reach there via Penang Hill Railway.

On Foot: Besides that, it is also feasible to navigate your way through the Penang Hill location on foot. If hiking excites you, you may hike for about 2 to 3 hours to reach the hilltop.
