About Kathmandu Fun Park in Kathmandu

The Kathmandu Fun Park is the amusement section and Kathmandu Fun Valley (KFV) is the water sports section and is situated at Palanse, Bhaktapur. Kathmandu Fun Valley is covered with plush greenery all around and was established with the main motive to provide unlimited enjoyment to people of all age groups. The place is a recreational park where one can enjoy water rides and activities as well as land or amusement rides. There are numerous slides and rides which the place has in store for the visitors. Fun park Kathmandu is the best place to beat the heat and tiredness and enjoy an amazing time with your family, friends and loved ones. Fun Park, Kathmandu has unlimited entertainment for all the fun and thrill lovers.

Kathmandu Fun Valley was established to break the monotony of the people living nearby by giving them a chance to engage in adventurous and exciting rides and activities. You will get that adrenaline pump while engaging in these rides and exciting activities. It is an amazing and wonderful experience which you can have when you visit Kathmandu, Nepal.

Attractions

Kathmandu Fun Park involves various attractions which are:

KIDS POOL- It is a functional and smaller version of a pool and water slide which has been specially designed for smaller children who are below 3ft in height. It is a big and wide swimming pool which has a depth of less than 2ft and has facilities such as rain disco, and about nine different variety of slides.

SPEED MAT- Here, you can slip on any one of the two mat water slides and trace your way down the mountain. It is a major attraction here so make sure you engage in this ride as soon as you reach the Kathmandu Fun park before it gets busy.  

WAVE POOL- It is a big and huge swimming pool, which has artificially generated large waves. It starts with 0ft to 5.5ft in the corners of the pool.

TOWER HEIGHT- It is a big tower which is about 30ft and is attached to a rotating platform which can hold 30-40 people at one serving. It rotates giving you a beautiful view of the Kathmandu city.

LAUGHING BUDDHA- It a big and large statue of Laughing Buddha and portrays water falling from his bucket. It is symbolic of prosperity, luck and peace.

TUBE SLIDE- It is a kind of a water slide in Kathmandu Fun Valley which uses a pump system to pump water to the top and then freely flows down. The water reduces friction, enabling sliders to slide down quickly.

The first 3 days of the tour were excellent. The divine and serene places were just amazing.. Our trip later was marred by unexpected heavy rains and winds. Had to take up road journeys as flights were cancelled. But Mr. Sumit from Snowyoda was constantly in touch with us and he made sure we had a smooth journey, comfortable stay and delicious food. Hotel was average not so clean. Vehicle sent was too bad in condition. They have sent another vehicle next day that's spacious but suspension condition is very bad Driver is generally good but very poor in planning and maintaining timelines to cover the places. Lot of time wastedriver doesn't know the route properly so we couldn't see all places plus wasted time a lot. Travel agent was very helpful especially in providing information correctly. Travel agent collected extra amount for the last day because he said itenary says to drop us after checkout from hotel. But I didn't see any where it's mentioned.he shouldn't have asked for it extra. He promised that he will suggest places to shop and I form driver about the same but nothing happened..we have to search online and visit. Places

We travelled to Nepal on a 9 days (8 nights) tour in March 2024. We were two couples and our itinerary covered Kathmandu, Chitwan National Park, Pokhara & Nagarkot. The tour was organised by M/s Kabru Adventure Holidays, Kathmandu, through Travel Triangle. A single vehicle (Toyota Hiace) picked us up from Kathmandu airport and remained with us for the entire tour, finally dropping us off at Kathmandu airport on 9th day. The trip was well planned and we got very good hotels throughout the entire trip. Rain greeted us at Pokhara, and it did play spoilsport for a day. Despite that, we did manage to squeeze in a little bit of local sightseeing there. A birthday surprise with cake was arranged for my wife at the hotel in Souraha which was very well received by our entire group. Mr Amit Dhami of Kabru Adventure planned and conducted day-to-day coordination with us during the entire trip. Special thanks to him.
