Andaman Tour Package In July (6D/5N)
July is Andaman's monsoon season, and that is exactly why this 6 days / 5 nights tour is one of the best-value ways to see the islands. Fewer tourists, lower hotel and package prices, and a rain-washed, green landscape make July a quieter, more affordable window than the December peak, while you still cover the headline sights: Port Blair's Cellular Jail, Radhanagar Beach on Havelock (Swaraj Dweep), the snorkelling reef at Elephant Beach, and the calm beaches of Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep). The package is planned around the season, with hotels, the inter-island ferry and all transfers organised for you, so a monsoon trip runs smoothly. For a full list of places to visit in Andaman in July, see our seasonal guide; this page is for booking the trip itself.
The headline price of INR 19,932 per person is a land package, it covers your hotels, the Port Blair ↔ Havelock ↔ Neil ferries and all transfers, but not airfare. Every day, hotel and inclusion is customisable, and because July is off-season you have more room to negotiate upgrades and dates. Tell us your plan and we will quote a live monsoon-season total.

Why Visit Andaman in July?
July sits squarely in the Andaman monsoon, and travellers who plan for it get the islands at their best value. Here is what the monsoon season actually means for your trip:
- Lowest prices of the year. July and August are Andaman's off-season, so package prices, hotels and activities drop to their lowest, the same islands for noticeably less than the December–January peak.
- Far fewer crowds. Beaches like Radhanagar and Elephant Beach that are packed in peak season are calm and open in July, so you get the views and the photos without the crowds.
- Lush, rain-washed scenery. Monsoon rain turns the islands deep green, the forest around Chidiya Tapu and Mount Harriet is at its most alive, and the light after a shower is some of the best for photography.
- More room to customise. Off-season demand means hotels and operators are flexible on room upgrades, dates and customisation, easier to tailor than in the booked-out peak months.
Now, the honest trade-off. July brings regular rain and a rougher open sea, so inter-island ferries and some water sports run to the weather rather than a fixed clock. The package is built around that, and you'll find the specifics in the July travel tips section below. Rain in Andaman is usually heavy but short, which leaves plenty of dry hours each day.
Andaman in July, 6 Days / 5 Nights Day-by-Day Itinerary
Route: Port Blair (1N) → Havelock / Swaraj Dweep (2N) → Neil / Shaheed Dweep (1N) → Port Blair (1N). Sightseeing is sequenced so the ferry-dependent legs sit mid-trip, giving flexibility if the monsoon weather shifts a crossing.
Day 1: Arrive in Port Blair · Corbyn's Cove & Cellular Jail light-and-sound show
Meals: none on arrival day · Stay: Port Blair · Transfers included
Your flight lands at Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair, where our representative meets you and transfers you to your hotel. After freshening up, you head to Corbyn's Cove, the closest beach to the city, and then to the Cellular Jail (Kala Pani), the colonial-era prison central to India's freedom struggle. In the evening you stay on for the light-and-sound show, which narrates the jail's history through the voices of the freedom fighters held there (shows run in Hindi and English). In July the show occasionally pauses for rain, so we keep the evening flexible. Overnight in Port Blair.
Day 2: Ferry to Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) · Radhanagar Beach
Meals: breakfast · Stay: Havelock · Ferry + sightseeing included
After breakfast you transfer to the jetty for the ferry across to Havelock Island, now officially Swaraj Dweep, a crossing of about 1.5–2 hours across roughly 60 km of the Bay of Bengal. After checking in, the afternoon is for Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), regularly ranked among Asia's finest for its wide white sand and clean water, and one of the best sunset spots in the islands. In the monsoon the sea here can be choppy and the lifeguards may flag swimming zones, we follow their guidance. Overnight in Havelock.
Day 3: Elephant Beach snorkelling excursion
Meals: breakfast · Stay: Havelock · Boat excursion included
This morning is for Elephant Beach, reached by a short boat ride from Havelock, where a shallow, calm reef makes it the best spot on the trip to try snorkelling, one complimentary snorkelling session is included, with corals and reef fish close to the surface. Sea-walks and other water activities are available on the spot (paid, and weather-dependent in July). If the morning crossing is held back by rough seas, we switch the day with a beach-and-village outing on Havelock and run the excursion when conditions allow. Overnight in Havelock.
Day 4: Ferry to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) · Laxmanpur & Bharatpur beaches
Meals: breakfast · Stay: Neil Island · Ferry + sightseeing included
After breakfast you take the ferry to Neil Island, officially Shaheed Dweep, the quietest of the three islands and especially peaceful in the off-season. You visit Laxmanpur Beach, known for its long sandbar and sunset, and Bharatpur Beach, the shallow lagoon by the jetty that is good for a swim or a walk when the tide and weather allow. Neil's pace is slow and green in the monsoon, with cycle-friendly village lanes between the beaches. Overnight in Neil.
Day 5: Return to Port Blair · Chidiya Tapu sunset & birdwatching
Meals: breakfast · Stay: Port Blair · Ferry + sightseeing included
This morning you ferry back to Port Blair and check in for your final night. In the afternoon you head to Chidiya Tapu, about 25 km from the city, a sunset and birdwatching point where the forest meets the sea, at its greenest and most active in July. If the evening clouds in, an alternative is shopping for shell craft and souvenirs around Aberdeen Bazaar and the Sagarika Government Emporium. Overnight in Port Blair.
Day 6: Departure from Port Blair
Meals: breakfast · Departure transfer included
After breakfast and check-out, you have time for any last shopping or a short beach stop depending on your flight, and our representative transfers you to Veer Savarkar International Airport for your onward flight. Port Blair flights depart in daytime only, so book a comfortable connection home.

July Travel Tips for Andaman (Monsoon Season)
A monsoon trip rewards a little planning. These tips keep a July itinerary smooth:
- Ferries run, but watch the weather. Inter-island ferries (Port Blair ↔ Havelock ↔ Neil) run in July but can be delayed or rescheduled in rough seas. This package keeps the ferry legs mid-trip and builds in flexibility, but keep your departure-day flight buffered with an extra night where possible.
- Water sports are weather-dependent. Scuba diving and sea-walks operate on calmer days and may pause when the sea is rough; snorkelling at the sheltered Elephant Beach reef is the most reliable water activity in the monsoon.
- What to pack. Pack a light rain jacket or poncho, quick-dry clothes, waterproof bags or pouches for phones and cameras, and reef-safe sunscreen, showers are frequent but usually short.
- It doesn't rain all day. Rain in Andaman is usually heavy but brief, so most days have long dry spells; plan flexible, weather-friendly sightseeing (Cellular Jail, the museums, Chidiya Tapu) as rain backups.
- Cash and connectivity. Carry enough cash, ATMs are limited on Havelock and Neil, and connectivity can drop in heavy rain. BSNL and Airtel have the most reliable coverage on the islands.
Hotels Included (Or Similar)
Representative stays for this package (confirm availability for your dates, similar-category hotels are substituted when needed):
- Marina Manor Hotel, Junglighat, Port Blair (Day 1 & Day 5)
- Radhakrishna Beach Resort, Govind Nagar, Havelock / Swaraj Dweep (Day 2 & Day 3)
- Hotel Amulya, near the market at Neil Kendra, Neil / Shaheed Dweep (Day 4)
Prefer a different category? Because July is off-season, upgrades to sea-view or higher-star stays are often available at lower-than-peak rates, the package adjusts to your choice.

FAQs About Andaman Tour Packages
Is July a good time to visit Andaman?
Yes, if you travel for value and quiet. July is the monsoon off-season, so you get the lowest prices of the year, far fewer crowds at beaches like Radhanagar, and lush green islands. The trade-off is regular (usually short) rain and rougher seas, so ferries and some water sports run to the weather. With a season-planned package it is a rewarding, budget-friendly time to go.
What is the cheapest month for an Andaman trip?
July and August, the monsoon months, are the cheapest time to visit Andaman. Hotel and package rates drop well below the December–February peak, and operators are more flexible on upgrades and dates. This 6D/5N package starts from ₹19,932 per person (land-only)
Is it safe to visit Andaman during the monsoon / in July?
Yes. July travel is safe and the islands stay open and operational. Rain is frequent but usually brief, and the main risk is ferry or water-sport delays on rough-sea days rather than any danger on land. The itinerary builds in flexibility, and we follow the local authorities' guidance on ferry sailings and swimming zones.
Are the ferries to Havelock and Neil running in July?
Yes, the Port Blair ⇄ Havelock ⇄ Neil ferries operate through the monsoon, but sailings can be delayed or rescheduled when the sea is rough. We keep the ferry-dependent legs in the middle of the trip and keep your plan flexible, and we recommend buffering your departure-day flight with an extra night where possible.
What activities can you do in Andaman in July?
Plenty. Snorkelling at the sheltered Elephant Beach reef is the most reliable water activity in the monsoon, and the included session is a great first try. The Cellular Jail and its light-and-sound show, Corbyn's Cove, Chidiya Tapu's sunset and birdlife, and the beaches of Havelock and Neil all work in July. Scuba diving and sea-walks run on calmer days and may pause in rough seas.
How much does an Andaman tour in July cost?
This 6 days / 5 nights land package starts at ₹19,932 per person on twin-sharing (down from ₹21,432) covering hotels, inter-island ferries and transfers. July's off-season rates make it one of the cheapest months to do the full circuit. Add your return airfare to Port Blair for the all-in cost, we can bundle flights and give you one quote on request.
What should I pack for Andaman in the monsoon?
Pack a light rain jacket or poncho, quick-dry clothes, sandals with grip, waterproof pouches for your phone and camera, and reef-safe sunscreen. Carry enough cash, as ATMs are limited on Havelock and Neil, and keep medicines and chargers in a dry bag. Showers are usually short, so you rarely lose a full day.
Does it rain all day in Andaman in July?
No. Monsoon rain in Andaman is usually heavy but short, so most days have long dry spells between showers plenty of time for sightseeing and beaches. We schedule weather-friendly options like the Cellular Jail, museums and Chidiya Tapu as easy backups if a shower lands during your plan.
