Day 1: Arrive in Port Blair · Corbyn's Cove & Cellular Jail light-and-sound show

Your flight lands at Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair, where our representative meets you and transfers you to your hotel. After freshening up, you head to Corbyn's Cove, the closest beach to the city, and then to the Cellular Jail (Kala Pani), the colonial-era prison central to India's freedom struggle. In the evening you stay on for the light-and-sound show, which narrates the jail's history through the voices of the freedom fighters held there (shows run in Hindi and English). In July the show occasionally pauses for rain, so we keep the evening flexible. Overnight in Port Blair.

Day 2: Ferry to Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) · Radhanagar Beach

After breakfast you transfer to the jetty for the ferry across to Havelock Island, now officially Swaraj Dweep, a crossing of about 1.5–2 hours across roughly 60 km of the Bay of Bengal. After checking in, the afternoon is for Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), regularly ranked among Asia's finest for its wide white sand and clean water, and one of the best sunset spots in the islands. In the monsoon the sea here can be choppy and the lifeguards may flag swimming zones, we follow their guidance. Overnight in Havelock.

Day 3: Elephant Beach snorkelling excursion

This morning is for Elephant Beach, reached by a short boat ride from Havelock, where a shallow, calm reef makes it the best spot on the trip to try snorkelling, one complimentary snorkelling session is included, with corals and reef fish close to the surface. Sea-walks and other water activities are available on the spot (paid, and weather-dependent in July). If the morning crossing is held back by rough seas, we switch the day with a beach-and-village outing on Havelock and run the excursion when conditions allow. Overnight in Havelock.

Day 4: Ferry to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) · Laxmanpur & Bharatpur beaches

After breakfast you take the ferry to Neil Island, officially Shaheed Dweep, the quietest of the three islands and especially peaceful in the off-season. You visit Laxmanpur Beach, known for its long sandbar and sunset, and Bharatpur Beach, the shallow lagoon by the jetty that is good for a swim or a walk when the tide and weather allow. Neil's pace is slow and green in the monsoon, with cycle-friendly village lanes between the beaches. Overnight in Neil.

Day 5: Return to Port Blair · Chidiya Tapu sunset & birdwatching

This morning you ferry back to Port Blair and check in for your final night. In the afternoon you head to Chidiya Tapu, about 25 km from the city, a sunset and birdwatching point where the forest meets the sea, at its greenest and most active in July. If the evening clouds in, an alternative is shopping for shell craft and souvenirs around Aberdeen Bazaar and the Sagarika Government Emporium. Overnight in Port Blair.

Day 6: Departure from Port Blair

After breakfast and check-out, you have time for any last shopping or a short beach stop depending on your flight, and our representative transfers you to Veer Savarkar International Airport for your onward flight. Port Blair flights depart in daytime only, so book a comfortable connection home.

July Travel Tips for Andaman (Monsoon Season)

A monsoon trip rewards a little planning. These tips keep a July itinerary smooth:

• Ferries run, but watch the weather. Inter-island ferries (Port Blair ↔ Havelock ↔ Neil) run in July but can be delayed or rescheduled in rough seas. This package keeps the ferry legs mid-trip and builds in flexibility, but keep your departure-day flight buffered with an extra night where possible.
• Water sports are weather-dependent. Scuba diving and sea-walks operate on calmer days and may pause when the sea is rough; snorkelling at the sheltered Elephant Beach reef is the most reliable water activity in the monsoon.
• What to pack. Pack a light rain jacket or poncho, quick-dry clothes, waterproof bags or pouches for phones and cameras, and reef-safe sunscreen, showers are frequent but usually short.
• It doesn't rain all day. Rain in Andaman is usually heavy but brief, so most days have long dry spells; plan flexible, weather-friendly sightseeing (Cellular Jail, the museums, Chidiya Tapu) as rain backups.
