Manali Tour Package From Delhi With Airfare:4D/3N
This is the one Manali package from Delhi where the flight is already in the price. You fly Delhi to Kullu-Manali Airport at Bhuntar in about 1 hr 20 min instead of spending 13 to 15 hours on an overnight Volvo, so day one is a real day in the hills, not a recovery day. For Rs 26,500 per person the return airfare, 3 nights in a 3-star hotel with breakfast and dinner, all transfers and the full Manali, Solang and Rohtang sightseeing are bundled into a single booking.
| Detail | |
|---|---|
| Price | Rs 26,500 per person on twin sharing (was Rs 28,804), airfare included |
| Duration | 4 days / 3 nights |
| Route | Delhi (DEL) to Bhuntar/Kullu (KUU) by air, then Manali, Solang, Rohtang, Kullu and Naggar |
| Flight | About 1 hr 20 min nonstop, Delhi to Bhuntar (Alliance Air, limited weekly frequency) |
| Included | Return airfare, 3-star hotel (3 nights), breakfast and dinner, all transfers, sightseeing, taxes |
| Best months | March to June for pleasant weather, December to February for snow |
| Ideal for | Couples, families and first-timers who want to skip the overnight bus |
Overview
Manali sits at about 2,050 m in Himachal Pradesh, part hill-station calm and part adventure base. It suits honeymooners, solo travellers and families in equal measure, which is why it stays the most booked hill trip from North India. The catch from Delhi is usually the journey: an overnight Volvo eats a day at each end. Flying in removes that, and this package builds the whole trip around the flight.
Over four days you cover the classic Manali circuit. Day one is a half-day town tour: Hadimba Devi Temple, the Vashisht hot water springs and old temple, Mall Road and Old Manali. Day two is the big one, Solang Valley, the Atal Tunnel and Rohtang Pass. Day three heads south to Kullu and Naggar, and day four flies you home from Bhuntar for the flight home.
Why an Airfare-Included Package Beats Booking Flights Separately
Most Manali packages quote a land-only price and leave the flight to you. That looks cheaper on the listing page, then the sector to Bhuntar prices in and the sum climbs. Bundling the flight fixes the number and takes the guesswork out.
• One price, one booking: the Delhi-Bhuntar flight is booked with the package, so you are not gambling on a last-minute fare
• No hidden add-on: Rs 26,500 already includes the flight, the 3 nights, meals and every transfer, no line-item surprises
• You keep a whole day: flying is about 1 hr 20 min against 13 to 15 hours on the overnight Volvo, so day one is a real day in Manali
• Transfers handled: the airport transfer from Bhuntar to your hotel is arranged, so you land and go
If you would rather drive up or take the Volvo and save on the ticket, the land-only Manali package from Delhi covers the same circuit without the flight. This page is for travellers who want the flight built in.
How to Reach Manali From Delhi (Flight vs Volvo vs Car)
Manali has no airport of its own. The nearest is Kullu-Manali Airport at Bhuntar (KUU), about 52 km and roughly two hours short of Manali by road. Here is how the three ways up from Delhi compare.
| Mode | Time | Route | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flight (this package) | About 1 hr 20 min in the air, plus a 2 hr transfer from Bhuntar | Delhi (DEL) to Bhuntar (KUU), then road to Manali | Included in the Rs 26,500 price |
| Volvo / overnight bus | About 13 to 15 hours, overnight | Delhi to Manali by road, roughly 520 to 540 km | Volvo AC about Rs 900 to Rs 1,500 each way (indicative) |
| Private car / taxi | About 12 to 14 hours | Delhi to Manali via Chandigarh, Mandi and Kullu | Varies by vehicle; ask for a quote |
Flights to Bhuntar are limited and weather-sensitive, so book early. For the full breakdown of trains, buses and road stops on this route, see the Delhi to Manali travel guide.
Your 4-Day Manali Itinerary From Delhi
Day 1: Fly Delhi to Bhuntar, arrive Manali and a half-day town tour
Board your morning flight from Delhi and land at Bhuntar in about 1 hr 20 min. Our representative meets you and drives you the roughly 52 km up to Manali, check in and freshen up. In the afternoon, a half-day town tour: Hadimba Devi Temple in its cedar grove, the Vashisht hot water springs and old stone temple, then Mall Road and Old Manali for the evening.
Day 2: Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Rohtang Pass
After breakfast, drive out to Solang Valley, the adventure meadow that most people picture when they think Manali. In summer it is paragliding and zorbing; from December it is snow. Carry on through the 9.02 km Atal Tunnel toward Sissu, and, when it is open in season, up to Rohtang Pass at 3,978 m. Rohtang is weather-dependent and needs a permit, so the day is planned around what is open.
Day 3: Full-day Kullu and Naggar
A full-day drive south to Kullu and Naggar after breakfast. Naggar, about 23.5 km from Kullu at 1,800 m, is the old capital: its stone-and-timber Naggar Castle and the Nicholas Roerich art gallery look out over the valley. Kullu is the stop for shawl weavers and a walk along the Beas. Back to Manali by evening.
Day 4: Transfer to Bhuntar and fly home
Breakfast, then check out and drive back down to Bhuntar for your flight to Delhi. If your flight is later in the day, there is usually time for a last stroll or some shopping on Mall Road before you leave.
Where you stay
Three nights at The Royal Regency, Left Bank Road, Aleo, Manali (3-star), or a similar category hotel, with breakfast and dinner included each day.

Best Time to Visit Manali From Delhi
Manali is a year-round trip, but what you get changes sharply by season. This is the short version.
| Months | Rough temp | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| March to June | 10 to 25 C | Pleasant days, open roads, all sightseeing running. The easiest time to fly in. |
| July to September | Cool, wet | Monsoon. Green and quiet, but landslides can affect Rohtang and hill roads. |
| October to November | 5 to 20 C | Crisp and clear post-monsoon, thinner crowds, good value. |
| December to February | -1 to 10 C | Snow season for Solang and Atal Tunnel/Sissu; Rohtang often shut, so confirm. |
If snow is the point of the trip, come between December and February and plan around the Atal Tunnel and Sissu, which stay reachable when Rohtang closes. For hassle-free roads and every viewpoint open, March to June is the safest bet.
Delhi to Manali Trip Cost Guide - What the Rs 26,500 Covers
Aggregator listings tempt you with a 'from Rs 6,000' bus-based teaser, then the flight, hotel and meals get added on top. This package quotes one honest number with the flight already in it. Here is where that Rs 26,500 goes.
| Item | In the price? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Return flight, Delhi to Bhuntar | Included | The single biggest cost on any Delhi-Manali trip, already bundled |
| 3 nights, 3-star hotel | Included | Twin sharing, breakfast and dinner each day |
| Transfers and sightseeing | Included | Airport pickup, Solang, Rohtang, Kullu-Naggar by road |
| Rohtang permit / activities | Extra | About Rs 550 permit; skiing, paragliding and rides at your own cost |
| Lunch and personal spends | Extra | Meals out, shopping, camera and entry fees |
Top Places and Things to Do in Manali

The adventure hub, about 14 km from Manali. Paragliding and zorbing in the warm months, ski and snow-play in winter. It is the first stop on day two and the busiest for a reason.
Atal Tunnel and Sissu
The 9.02 km Atal Tunnel drops you into the Lahaul valley in minutes. Sissu, just beyond it, has a waterfall and open snow fields in winter and stays reachable when Rohtang is shut.
Rohtang Pass

Hadimba Devi Temple and Old Manali
The 16th-century Hadimba temple sits in a cedar grove a short walk from Mall Road. Old Manali, across the Manalsu stream, is the cafe-and-riverside side of town.
Kullu and Naggar
