Manali Volvo Tour Package From Gurgaon: Overview
This Manali tour package from Gurgaon is built around one thing NCR travellers actually want: a clean, no-transit-hassle way to reach the mountains. You board an overnight Volvo from Delhi (a 30 to 45 minute drive from most of Gurgaon), sleep through the roughly 530 km climb, and wake up in Manali the next morning with all five days and four nights already planned. Solang Valley, the Atal Tunnel and Sissu, Hadimba Temple, and a full Kullu sightseeing day are covered, hotels and most meals included, for a starting price of Rs 24,479 per person on twin sharing.
It suits first-time Manali visitors from Gurgaon, Sohna Road, and DLF who would rather not drive, and couples or small groups who want the route sorted end to end. Everything below can be customised: swap the Volvo for a private cab, add a night, or trade the Kullu day for more time in the high snow points. What follows is the exact day-by-day plan, what is and is not included, the boarding logistics from Gurgaon, and answers to the questions NCR travellers ask most.

Package highlights
•Overnight Volvo both ways from Delhi, so a Gurgaon start means one short cab ride, not a long self-drive.
•A full day at Solang Valley for ropeway, zorbing, and seasonal snow activities.
•Atal Tunnel and Sissu on the Lahaul side, a run most Manali-from-NCR packages skip.
•Rohtang Pass option, subject to the National Green Tribunal permit and day-quota.
•Hadimba Temple, Vashisht hot springs, Mall Road, and a Tibetan monastery in Manali.
•A dedicated Kullu day with Naggar Castle and river rafting on the Beas.
How to reach Manali from Gurgaon
This is the part that separates a Gurgaon start from a generic Delhi package, so here is the honest logistics. There is no direct Volvo boarding inside Gurgaon on this package. You reach the Delhi boarding point, which is a 30 to 45 minute drive from most Gurgaon sectors on the Dwarka Expressway or NH-48, and board the overnight Volvo at the fixed evening departure. Reach the boarding point by around 5:00 PM for a 5:30 PM departure. The coach runs through the night and reaches Manali the next morning, roughly 12 to 14 hours for the 530-odd km, so you lose no daytime to transit.
If you would rather not do the Delhi hop, we can arrange a Gurgaon pickup by private cab for a supplement, or start you on a flight to Bhuntar (Kullu-Manali airport, about 50 km short of Manali) with a road transfer. For trains, the nearest broad-gauge railhead is Chandigarh or Ambala, from where the road leg to Manali is a further eight to nine hours, which is why the overnight Volvo remains the most-booked choice for NCR travellers. Our full breakdown of Delhi-to-Manali trains, buses, and driving routes is covered in our Delhi to Manali travel guide.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 - Board the overnight Volvo from Delhi
Make your way from Gurgaon to the Delhi boarding point in the late afternoon and reach by around 5:00 PM. The Volvo departs at 5:30 PM sharp, so build in buffer for NCR evening traffic. Settle in for the overnight run to Manali, roughly 530 km through Chandigarh, Bilaspur, Mandi, and Kullu. Dinner en route is on your own account at one of the highway stops the coach halts at. You sleep on the bus and save a full day, arriving in Manali the next morning. No hotel night is used on Day 1, which is why the package covers four nights for a five-day trip.
Day 2 - Arrive Manali, check in, half-day local sightseeing
The Volvo reaches Manali around 7:00 AM. Transfer to the hotel, freshen up, and have breakfast before heading out. The half-day local tour covers Hadimba Devi Temple set in the Van Vihar cedar forest, Vashisht village with its natural hot-water springs, and the old Manali and Tibetan monastery area. Wind down along Mall Road and IBEX Mall for shopping and cafes. Dinner and overnight at the Manali hotel. Keep this day light, as most travellers arriving off an overnight coach prefer an easy first day.
Day 3 - Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Sissu (Rohtang optional)
After breakfast you head to the high points, and this package gives you a genuine choice most Gurgaon packages do not. Option one is Solang Valley for the ropeway, zorbing, and, in season, skiing and snow scooter rides. Option two, our recommendation on a clear day, is to drive through the 9.02 km Atal Tunnel (the world's longest highway tunnel above 10,000 feet, opened in 2020) to Sissu in Lahaul, where the Sissu waterfall and the calm Chandra river valley sit under snow peaks. Sissu stays open when Rohtang is shut, so it is the reliable snow-and-views day. Rohtang Pass itself is a third option but is subject to the National Green Tribunal permit and daily vehicle quota, so it is never guaranteed and needs a next-day permit request. Return to Manali for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - Kullu sightseeing and Naggar Castle
After breakfast, check out and drive down towards Kullu, checking in to your Kullu-side hotel. The day covers Naggar Castle, the 500-year-old stone-and-timber fort of the Kullu kings that now houses an art gallery, along with the riverside temples of the Kullu valley such as Gauri Shankar and the local Shiva temple, and a stop at a shawl-weaving unit where Kullu and Kinnauri shawls are made. If water levels allow, you can add white-water river rafting on the Beas near Kullu for a supplement. Dinner and overnight at the Kullu hotel.
Day 5 - Departure by Volvo
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the Volvo station for your return overnight coach to Delhi. Pack with time to spare and keep any last Mall Road shopping for the morning. You reach Delhi the following morning, from where the short cab back to Gurgaon completes the trip. If you have added flights instead, we time the departure transfer to Bhuntar airport accordingly.

Exact hotels are assigned on confirmation and by season, and can be upgraded to 4-star or premium properties for a supplement when you customise.
What makes this Gurgaon package different
Most Manali packages sold to NCR travellers stop at Solang Valley and call the snow day done. Two things set this one apart. First, the Atal Tunnel and Sissu run on Day 3 gives you a real Lahaul-side snow-and-valley experience that holds up even when Rohtang is closed, which is the single most common disappointment on a Manali trip. Second, the plan is written for a Gurgaon start, so the Volvo timing, the one-short-cab logistics to the Delhi boarding point, and the four-night structure are all sized to an overnight-coach traveller rather than a Delhi resident. It is a route package, not a generic hill-station listing, and every day is customisable.
Booking and cancellation
Every package is customisable before you pay, and you book only after comparing quotes from vetted local agents. Payment is in easy installments. A free-cancellation window and staged refund slabs apply to this package. The exact window and slabs are confirmed on your quote before any payment, so you see the policy in writing up front rather than after booking.
