The mesmerizing lake came into existence in the year 1135 by emperor Anaji Chauhan. The main aim to build the lake was to uplift the society, a dam was constructed across the Luni River and water was diverted to Ana Sagar Lake in Ajmer. At present, the lake is visited by many travelers as well as locals owing to the breathtaking views. There are many attractions near the lake such as Daulat Bagh Gardens and Khobra Behroon Shrine. The Daulat Bagh garden came into existence during the reign of Mughal emperor Jahangir. The garden is well maintained by the local authorities and is an ideal place for a family picnic.

Foy Sagar Lake in Ajmer came into existence in the year 1892 as a Famine Relief Project. The lake was named after the engineer Mr. Foy who led this project. The lake provided water to famine-hit areas in Ajmer. It is an artificial water lake that spreads in an area of 14,000,000 square feet. At present, it has become an important tourist place. The best time to visit this lake is during winters to see breathtaking and stunning views.
