How To Reach Jaipur
Here’s how to reach Jaipur via the easiest route and the most economical fare. One of the most popular tourist destinations, Jaipur has an amazing array of sightseeing options. An amalgamation of majestic historical monuments, cultural heritage and vibrant bazaars, the city is well connected to various cities across the country via roads, railways, and air. For tourists wondering how to reach Jaipur, the easiest and least time-taking route would be via air.
When looking for ways to reach Jaipur by flights, Jaipur International Airport is your answer. Located almost 13 km away from the city center, the airport offers flights to all major cities of the country such as Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai. The airport also connects the city to Muscat, Sharjah, Singapore, and Dubai.
The major airlines that service the airport include Air India, IndiGo, Jet Airways, SpiceJet, GoAir, and others. Taxis and buses are easily available to take travelers to the heart of the city. If not coming from the nearby cities, reaching Jaipur by flight is a good option. This will give you more time to spend in the city itself, exploring it to the maximum.
Train is one of the best options of getting to Jaipur. Jaipur Railway Station, the headquarters of the North Western Railway Zone, offers direct trains to all major cities of the country. If wondering how to reach Jaipur from Delhi by train, trains such as Shatabdi, Rajdhani, Duronto and Mandor Express are good options.
One of the most luxurious trains to Jaipur is the “Palace on Wheels”. Complete with a dining cart, a games room, a bar and many other amenities, this train is much famed among those looking for a taste of opulence and luxury when visiting Jaipur. The train ride is definetly expensive but worth it.
Jaipur is connected to nearby cities via well maintained roads. If wondering how to reach Jaipur from Delhi by road in a private vehicle, make sure to take the NH 8, which spans almost 268 kms. The drive from Delhi to Jaipur takes nearly 5 hours, more if one encounters traffic. The road is mostly scenic when you pass the traffic and head onto the highway, bordered by dense forests and small villages on both sides.
Try to stop at the roadside stalls for some refreshments and landscape pictures to give your Jaipur trip a jolly start.
How to reach Jaipur by bus: Jaipur is also well connected via private and state-run buses, thus ensuring that those not willing to drive themselves have an easy option to reach the city. Most cities nearby, such as Delhi, offer overnight as well as day long buses. When planning how to reach Jaipur from Delhi by bus, remember that there are several types of buses available from the Capital to reach Jaipur. There include the luxury buses, the semi-deluxe ones and the state run ones. Choose from them as per your budget and preferences for comfort.

Trip to JaipurOverall experience was good at riva holidays but some problems I faced must be shared here for others. 1. After paymemt of first instalment please call hotel and confirm all bookings are confirmed (as I faced my jaipur hotel was not confirmed due to some Oyo booking that caused a 30 min waiting on day 1 of trip and my hotel at ajmer was cancelled finally and I had to stay at a hotel with very poor standard.) 2. No care were taken from traveltriangle not a single person called to get the trip situation.i called my alloted person he didnt pick the phone.I paid 500 to traveltriangle for assurance of all things but no one helped. 3.driver attitude was fine but in last days he was feeling irritated due to long stay I guess .But what can a tourists do in this matter.so behaviour of driver must be supportive. There are a lot of things that can be suggested but I want to say only one thing ....I or anyone book trip through tour agency so that they take care of things and you roam with no tension but in this trip I got a lot of tension. In future I will book by myself and for cab I may go for local cab agencies. Everything is available online.do some research and book. Following places can be added in udaipur itenary 1. sajjangarh fort/mansoon palace 2. Open aquarium at fateh sagar lake. 3. Night life at fateh sagar lake.
Trip to DelhiI had booked this tour package from Traveltriangle one month before. Our travel planner from Deejohn Mr Manoj was very responsive to my questions and requests for itinerary changes too.I'm satisfied with Deejohn’s service. Deluxe hotel at Jaipur exceeded our expectations but we were disappointed with Delhi and Agra Hotels, could have been better. Agra tour Guide was demanding excess tips but guides in Delhi and Jaipur were polite and well mannered. We had a great driver Mr Paul for all 4 days were friendly and courteous.Paul cared for us the whole trip.Overall very happy with this tour and will recommend to my friends and relatives.
Trip to JaipurI have been to Rajasthan during 1st week of August 2019. It is really a great experience and all my family members are happy with this trip. Specifically, our travel agent, Ashok from Taj Holiday Mart has taken care every thing and booked nice hotels and arranged a nice Innova Crysta car with excellent driver, Prahlad Sharma. I have been to 3 cities in Rajasthan, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. Traditional Heritage hotel at Jaipur and The Ummed at Jodhpur are really excellent in all means. Brahma Niwas hotel at Udaipur is also very good with spacious rooms and excellent location, but very small hotel and needs to be improved in Breakfast spread. Ashok and his team has called us every alternate day and verified about services. Car driver Prahlad ji is very nice person and he has clear knowledge about site seeing places in Rajasthan. Prahlad ji is very polite and maintains time very well. He has guided us very well in all aspects and also covered Pushkar on our request which was not in the plan. Overall I am very happy with this trip and my sincere thanks to Ashok and team of Taj Holiday Mart .
Trip to JaipurHotel was good in jaipur as well as jodhpur hotel staff very nice and cooperative food very excellent Our cab driver was very bad his name is jagram shabby didn't took bath for 4 days same dress for 4 days and very ill mannered not polite at all trip salors can drive choice very bad spoiled our whole trip didn't enjoyed. Bad memories
Trip to DelhiI had book Tripsailor for my Delhi, Agra Jaipur tour. They provided me a good package. But they didn't provide me any meals like lunch or dinner. No entry fees were included to monuments visit. The trip further costed me more Rs.50000 for meals, tour guides and entry tickets which they never mentioned will be so expensive. Hotels were OK, i guess they gave me 2.5 star hotels. In all, not satisfied with this company. I won't recommend them to anyone.
Trip to HimachalThe whole trip from Delhi, Manali, Agra, Jaipur, Ajmer was arranged by Travel triangle through agency Trip Sailor. The best thing in the whole trip was our tour agent's & TT tour Coordinator response and support namely Monica mam & Vansh Sir and Astha mam and definitely our cab driver Narender. They all are very Cooperative & helpful. The whole arrangements made by them were awesome. They accommodated at very good hotels at Manali, Agra & Jaipur... Surely this site was helped us to explore and planned our tour in our budget. Very nice experience and I will recommend Trip Sailor (Travel Triangle) for smooth holiday Plan.
