Sandipan's 9 days trip to JodhpurThe trip was well planned and organised. All the hotels were quite good. There are few rooms of improvement. The driver was quite good in driving but has few issues. The first driver was also trying to wrap up for the day too early. We had to tell him specifically where to go, otherwise he just wanted to go back to hotel at the earliest. He was always reluctant to take us for any shopping. Whenever we asked him about the shopping market, most of the days he said "yaha utna achha koi market nahi hai" and later we had to talk to the locals to get the information. We had to tell him specifically every day for the places to shop. The last day we got a new driver, who did not wear his uniform and due to that the police had stopped us twice which took more than 30 mins. Also we asked the driver to take us to a sweet shop on the last day and he agreed, but took us directly to the airport, 2.30 hrs before the flight time. All over the trip was well managed and a memorable one. I give a 4 out of 5 Star
Niharika's 6 days trip to JodhpurIt was a great trip managed by trip sailor for jaipur and udaipur. Ankit from trip sailer and Hem chandra travel triangle was always available whenever we required them.
Gemleo's 6 days trip to JodhpurBest experience, good service and lots of good memories
Shirgaonkar's 9 days trip to JodhpurKapil Sharma from Riva Holidays guided us so well for Rajasthan Tour. I got best deal and service was up to the mark. Only one property in Udaipur was 10km away from city which was inconvenient part rest service was satisfactory. Entire Rajasthan Trip was amazing as we expected.
Sanya's 4 days trip to JodhpurThis is the first time I booked a tour via a tour operator over a travel website and was very apprehensive. But it turned out to be a good decision on my part selecting Ganesham Tours. Saurabh was very attentive and responsive from the beginning and answered any and all questions I had. From the driver to the hotels arranged all were good and he even changed hotels based on my preference. During the duration of my trip for 4D/3N, i only called saurabh once for a minor issue but apart from that the trip went smoothly. Would definitely recommend Ganesham tours & travels for any tour in Rajasthan since they are based out of Jaipur/Jodhpur. Excellent service offered at affordable rates.
Ashwini's 4 days trip to JodhpurI had booked stay and travel in Rajasthan for 6 people from Trip sailer. Jyoti was our travel agent. She was very good and was available throughout the trip. We had our hotel confirmation voucher for Jaipur stay but got to know there was no booking in our name when we went and asked in hotel reception. They arranged different hotel and travel to that hotel wasted our half a day in Jaipur. This is one of the complaint I have. The innova car we got for our journey was very old model and not well maintained. I was expecting well maintained higher model of innova. Also the driver was very irritating. For most of the sightseeing in Jaipur he used to refuse which made us call travel agent back and forth. All the hotels were good and well maintained. Thanks to Jyoti for suggesting good hotels to us. Jaisalmer tent stay, camel safari
Farida's 3 days trip to JodhpurIt was a wonderful trip from start to end, everything was organised very nicely ....And special thanks to ridhima from tourepedia, as she was a geart help to me while planning my trip. We were only ladies group and we were little frightened as we all never travelled without male companion but she cleared all doupts and made the tour package as i wanted to be, very patient and very sweet to talk to. Jaisalmer desert camp was an unforgettable memory. We all ladies had a gala time over there and no one wanted the trip to get over as we all wanted to spend more time there.
Ranuv's 5 days trip to JodhpurThank you 'Travel triangle' for making my trip memorable. All the arrangements were very good and specially the driver Manish Jarial was very helpful.
Payal's 4 days trip to JodhpurThe experience of the trip was really good..just that there was lot of traveling from one place to another so try to reduce that and include more good known places nearby . Nakki lake, Jain temple, karni mata and all were superb...will surely travel again with you people.

FAQ's of Jodhpur

A lot of tourists like to stay in one of the numerous heritage hotels in Jodhpur, which give an authentic feel of staying in an old haveli. For those who want to stay in luxury, Jodhpur in fact has some of the best hotels in the country. Notably, the Umaid Bhavan Palace which was originally used by the Royal family as their palace is now a heritage hotel, managed by the Taj group - a night's stay here would cost around 5000 per night.
Some of the major places one should visit in the city are Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Mahamandir, Clock Tower, Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, Mandore Gardens and Balsamand Lake and Garden.
Unlike other cities of Rajasthan, Jodhpur doesn't have many activities to do than sightseeings and desert safari. A couple or three days should be enough for a visit to this city.
Jodhpur is a pretty safe place to be in but don't stay out till too late at night and don't get too friendly with the locals either. Keep your distance and be alert at all times and appear confident and don't look afraid or lost, irrespective of whom you meet. If you keep your wits about you, you should be fine in most cases.
Jodhpur has its famous Mirchi Vada, Mawa Kachori and Pyaaz Kachori. Almost as popular and a must try item is Makhaniya Lassi.
Many people consider Jodhpur as the cultural capital of Rajasthan. Due to its cultural ambiance and plethora of historical destinations, it is definitely a must-visit place in Jodhpur.
