Shrilatha's 6 days trip to JodhpurI would like to start on a positive note , we did enjoy the trip and the best part of the trip was the desert camp at jaisalmer. I would agree that all the hotel rooms were neat and comfortable with our stay. On the other hand, we wasted time at Jaipur and the sightseeing at Jaipur recommended was worthless as all the 3 places were just ok roadside and could be covered easily in roughly one hour . The tripadvisor did not recommend that we visit amer fort which was worth place to visit at Jaipur . Moreover the cab drivers had some tieups with local shopkeepers at Jaipur and misguided is to shop first which took most of our time and they were really reluctant to get us to do sight seeing . In fact they took commission even at the restaurants. We could cover udaipur in half a days time and frankly there was nothing much to do there and it was just a city with a lake and not recommended at all not worth the 12 hours of travel from jaisalmer. The desert camp at jaisalmer was the best highlight of the trip and our families had a good time and taste of Rajasthan
Bhaktaranjan's 10 days trip to JodhpurThanks to Travel Triangle and his tour agents Ganesham tour and travels india ltd.for excellent trips arrangements by the team.I Will definitely recommend your travel agent to all my friends.Food quality to be improved in hotel Tokeyoo at jaisalmer.
Grkadekar's 6 days trip to JodhpurThe overall service was good. And all the arrangements made was good .hotels was very good.one comments about the hotels was the Vinayak desert camp though it was good , we were given tent with out geyser. We were not knowing about this. Even if we have to pay for tgat , the availability of the same should have been told to us. Once again over all experience was very good . I definitely recommend both travel triangle and asiago travels....govind

FAQ's of Jodhpur
Read on to find out why our customers love us!
A lot of tourists like to stay in one of the numerous heritage hotels in Jodhpur, which give an authentic feel of staying in an old haveli. For those who want to stay in luxury, Jodhpur in fact has some of the best hotels in the country. Notably, the Umaid Bhavan Palace which was originally used by the Royal family as their palace is now a heritage hotel, managed by the Taj group - a night's stay here would cost around 5000 per night.
Some of the major places one should visit in the city are Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Mahamandir, Clock Tower, Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, Mandore Gardens and Balsamand Lake and Garden.
Unlike other cities of Rajasthan, Jodhpur doesn't have many activities to do than sightseeings and desert safari. A couple or three days should be enough for a visit to this city.
Jodhpur is a pretty safe place to be in but don't stay out till too late at night and don't get too friendly with the locals either. Keep your distance and be alert at all times and appear confident and don't look afraid or lost, irrespective of whom you meet. If you keep your wits about you, you should be fine in most cases.
Jodhpur has its famous Mirchi Vada, Mawa Kachori and Pyaaz Kachori. Almost as popular and a must try item is Makhaniya Lassi.
Many people consider Jodhpur as the cultural capital of Rajasthan. Due to its cultural ambiance and plethora of historical destinations, it is definitely a must-visit place in Jodhpur.
