How to Reach Banjhakri Waterfalls

• Air (to Banjhakri waterfalls): The closest airport to the waterfalls is Bagdogra (near Siliguri) in West Bengal. It lies at a distance of about 125 km from Gangtok which is the capital of Sikkim. There are multiple major airline carriers which can help you get there easily and their rates depend on the time you choose to travel. Bagdogra is connected well to some of the major Indian cities like Delhi and Kolkata by regular flights and it won't be difficult to reach here as flights are easily available.

• Train (to Gangtok): If you are opting for train, then the railway station that is the closest to it, is New Jalpaiguri (near Siliguri), which is connected to Gangtok by road. New Jalpaiguri is linked to almost all the Northeastern cities. From the railway station, you can choose any road transport to reach your destination.

•Road: There are different routes to enter Gangtok and you can easily enter it from Siliguri, Darjeeling, and Kalimpong which provide you a direct connection to Gangtok. As the roads near the waterfalls are not the best, hence taking a bigger vehicle is more recommended.
