You will have to travel from Kandy Station to Ohiya Station which usually takes 4 hours and the train departs from Kandy to Ohiya 3 times a day. From the Ohiya railway station you can hire a tuk-tuk or taxi to Horton Plains National Park.

Out of the 3N/4D trip everything was wonderful except for the hotel on the 2 nd night. Absolutely not worth even half of the money we paid, bathroom smelling of urine, floor dirty, power lines close to window, no view, food aweful and cold, no privacy. I would rather book a trip by myself or other
