About Temples In Tamil Nadu

Temples in Tamil Nadu are as glorious as forts in Rajasthan. Two of the world heritage sites in Tamil Nadu – Great Living Chola Temples and Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram – features up to 1000 years old temples in Tamil Nadu. The Brihadisvara Temple at Thanjavur, Airavatesvara Temple complex and Airavateshwara Temple at Darasuram are some among the biggest temples in Tamil Nadu. The state of Tamil Nadu is dotted with temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Murugan.

Make sure to visit temples in Mahabalipuram along the Coromandel Coast, just a few hours from Chennai. These group of temples and monuments, dating back to the 7th century Pallava rulers, are arguably the most famous temples in Tamil Nadu. Navagraham temples in Tamil Nadu are also popular destinations to visit in the state. Made during the reign of Chola rulers, these temples are dedicated to nine planetary deities. For getting rooms everywhere we have to wait for 30 mins despite reaching after checkin time because they don't have confirmation of booking. So that's can be improved. Cab pers

    Overall, the trip was designed and organised well. Appreciations to Mr Sachin. Hotels are good at all the places, particularly Grand Ashok at Thanjavur is excellent in all aspects. Whereas, the Grande Inn at Trichi is good but very small in size , hardly any space to move , keep the luggage, defini
    tely not suitable for guests on holidays. Hotels at other places are good. Special appreciation to Mr. Chammy, the driver who is sincere, committed, courteous, highly knowledgeable about the itenery. The car provided was Ford Figo considerably a good vehicle but some issues in AC. This should be ensured in future. Finally, thanks to Travel Triangle for well organised tour.
