The cab driver (Vipul) was really a gem of a person and was cheerful throughout our Tawang trip. The hotels/homestays were satisfactory and the food was also good. Do go with Hill Dekho for the best price and itinerary. Really good experience. Best memories were visiting the snow capped mountains and the Bumla Pass. Felt proud seeing the army guarding us in the Chinese border. All mountain lovers should visit India's Land of the Rising Sun. Tawang was mesmerising and beautiful.

1-2 Hotels wasn't upto the mark, namely; Deysal Noora @ Bomdila and Kutmadan @Cherrapunjee (Small rooms with not so good hygiene & too off-beat location that the driver couldn't understand the location) Rest the trip has been a great getaway especially Arunachal-Tawang (Olden day's Tibet) There's hardly anything in Dirang and Bomdila. P.S.: Book a helicopter ride from Tawang to Guwahati than 2 days extensive car rides (Suggestion)

Regarding the driver, initial days as he didn't open up we could not make it to Kamakya temple and he didn't even helped us in finding good restaurants...Later days he opened up and took us to most adventures places and unexplored places which was not in the iterny... Travel agent was communicative but I am not happy with the entire thing just because of hotel StreamSide cottage which is not good one to stay and not proper guidance to visit Kamakya...rest everything was intact Arwah caves, garden of caves, krang shuri

Shillong I got the room in 4th floor. Similarly the Sunset cruise On Brahmaputra river was not booked nor told me to book in advance. I had to call and remind and we couldn't find option in day 1, so had to move the cruise trip to 6th day. Overall it's a good experience but need some proactiveness from travel agent.

s were not clean, reception area smelled of drunkeness.. however we did not create a scene and adjusted for the day, i informed my agent- sizra for the same.. rest of the trip was a banger.. our driver bikash das was super sweet and absolutely helpful when needed.. i got sick on the fourth day.. he helped us out... We went on april last week which was not a good decision for arunachal.. rains most of the time feb, march would be good for arunachal trip.. u'll get snow on those months Best was bumla pass.. services. The resorts at Kaziranga (Dhanashri Resort) and Dawki (Peit Them Resort) were excellent, with beautiful gardens, clean and spacious rooms, and polite staff. Other hotels were okay but didn’t meet our expectations in terms of room size, cleanliness, and breakfast variety. The hotel in Shillong (Ramson Stay Inn) was new, but it had no lift, making it difficult for older people to access upper floors. The breakfast was very basic — just bread, butter, and a sandwich. It would be better if they added items like cornflakes and bread omelet. Overall, we were happy with the trip, the itinerary, and our cab driver, Mintoo Das, who was polite and helpful. Sanjeev was always reachable and helped with hotel room changes and safari bookings. However, the pre-travel and on-trip coordination could be improved, as no one checked in with us during the trip. While support was available when we called, a more proactive approach would have been better. In short, it was a memorable and well-planned trip that our whole family enjoyed.
