No. There is no elephant riding, there are no shows, and the park no longer runs tourist bathing. It moved to a self-bathing, observation-first model, so you feed the elephants and walk with the herd, then watch them bathe themselves in the river. If a guide still advertises a 'bathe the elephants' experience here, it is out of date. This is the strict no-touch sanctuary, not a hands-on bathing camp.

Wear light, breathable clothes, ideally long comfortable trousers, with closed-toe shoes or strapped sandals for uneven, sometimes muddy ground. You do not get in the water, so no swimsuit is needed. Pack a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, a refillable water bottle, a light rain layer in the green season, and cash in baht for tips. Wash your hands before feeding so no lotion transfers to the food.

The cool, dry season from November to February is the most comfortable, so book a couple of weeks ahead in those peak months.
