Bunty's 6 days trip to Kerala

Hello Kerala expedition,Greetings !!Thanks to the travel triangle and especially thanks to Kerala Expedition(Our coordinator Bindu and Driver/Guide sharad ) for making my trip memorable. All the things were arranged very professionally. Our drive/guide Mr. sharad was friendly in natureas. If you get Sharad as driver will never face any problem in your trip. He is very polite, humble and ready to help you all the time.Coming to the trip we went to Munnar, Thekkady and Alleppey.Rivulet Resort (Munnar) and Spice lap Resort(Thekkady) the experience was superb. But the jeep safari was worst for money in the entire jungle we didn't see a single buffalo. The houseboat stay in Alleppey was nice. Got a nice houseboat with a very nice crew. and The decoration for our honeymoon was an awesome flower bed decoration in my room. It was fabulous. We booked a private boat(white horse house boat) the room was too small, they didn't provide a good blanket. The food was very delicious and tasty. special thanks for himanshu gupta agent best planner he is suggesting to me the itinerary. He is available 24*7 .He is the best planner .I am very familiar for him definitely I would highly recommend Kerala Expedition for your trip.

Shashank's 6 days trip to North East

We enjoyed through out the trip in Meghalaya and Assam. There was no problem in check in , check out and complimentary breakfast was served everyday in morning at all the hotels. The rooms were very good and had geysers ,water and room heaters , a.c , wash rooms , hot water and coffee/tea as per the need. The room were very tidy and neat and the staff at all the places were very well behaved. We loved the hospitality specially at Cherapunji in Hotel Crescent. Moreover the Cab was good and driver was excellent and quite knowledgeable about the places and routes. The journey amidst the waterfalls , Caves , Gardens , lakes and beautiful hilly roads filled our heart with joy and we were thrilled with the jungle safari at Kaziranga. We also enjoyed the tranquility at Umiam lake and boating in Dawaki river. We got honeymoon package that is room decoration and candle light dinner which made our day. Thank you for the warm hospitality. I will recommend AB Tourism and Travel Triangle. Our best memory was Elephant ride and Jungle safari in Jeep where we got a chance to see deer , one horse rhino , wild boar , wild buffalo , hornbill and elephants.

This is the second holiday package I booked through travel triangle and everything was planned really well. You can book your trips from Rocking Trips they are really good and trustworthy people. My Kanyakumari trip was cancelled as Tamil Nadu state was closed and Rocking trip refund my amount which I paid for the sightseeing. Our Cab driver was really very good and caring. We did Bamboo rafting in Periyar tiger reserve one of the best experience of our life. It has scenic beauty and its really untouched earth. We also did wildlife trekking in day and Jungle Scout in night and spotted few wild animals like Tusker Elephant, Sambar deer, wild pigs and buffaloes. It was a really awesome experience I would recommend these only for couples and young people as it includes 11kms of trekking.

Ravi's 6 days trip to Sri Lanka

We were 5 friends from India who were traveling to Srilanka on a reunion cum adventure trip. We chose our partner as IamSriLanka (for hotel and travel-flights we had booked independently) and that was the best decision we could have made. Before the trip had started, Dilani had helped me getting my Visa approval from the SL embassy which was stuck for some reason. She was extremely helpful right from the beginning in assisting us with the plan and travel iterations we had gone through. Must Do itinerary for people YOUNG AT HEART in Srilanka: I am going to write a detailed review of our trip, it''ll be long but I hope it will be pleasing read to all the readers. Day 1 (Fri): After landing at Colombo, we were greeted well by Mr. Chinthaka (amazing person) who was our driver cum guide. Did a bit of city tour, most of the day we were stuck in heavy traffic so couldn't do much. Later in the evening, we had gone to Bally's Casino; one of the biggest attractions in Colombo. It had a wonderful vibe to it, all the live performances were sensational. The crowd was amazing, food-drinks are complimentary and minimum buy-in is dirt cheap with 100LKR on some roulette tables. Fortunately, we made some money. A good start to the trip :* Best part about the casino is the late night FREE drop to the guests' hotels. Kingsbury (restaurant) and Galle Face Road are also a treat to watch. Our hotel was GSH Colombo- decent budget hotel, great location but with limited breakfast options. Day 2 (Sat): Started a bit late from Colombo towards Kandy, got even more late due to traffic. Reached Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Nice place to see a lot of elephants eating, enjoying bath in the river. Later, we had stayed for half hour in spice garden. They had given us brief on naturally grown and hand-made medicines to cure day-to-day health issues. Then we had headed to Kandy, city was lively; full of tourists in flea market. Someone in dying minutes we managed to sneak in Temple Tooth Relic (UNESCO) site-a place of significance to Buddhists. We stayed at Liyya Residence, which I would say was a average hotel, location was far from city with just the basic hotel amenities. Not cool for honeymoon travelers. We missed "cultural show', gem museum due to time constraints. Day 3(Sun): Started early after having breakfast at local market which served amazing SriLankan veg food. Best food we have had in the entire trip. A paradise for veggies. Must try Porridge (both green and brown) and all the snacks which they serve. Then we headed to "Glenloch" tea factory, good place and they nicely explain tea manufacturing process. Next we went to Hanuman Temple, which we on the way. In the afternoon, we reached Nuwara Eliya aka Little England. The weather was cold as it is a hill-station, the town had golf course, race course and other attraction. The entire route was scenic, lush green and weather was pleasant. We also sent few minutes at the Sita Devi Temple, crossed Ashok Vatika, Ravana waterfalls and Caves. Alternatively, river rafting, cave expedition and train journey to Nuwara can be done. We stayed in 'Peacock Reach Hotel' near Yala, it was decent hotel with pool and amenities. Day 4(Mon): We had started early for Yala National Park Safari. 5-5:30am is the best time to reach at the gate. Queues are long and forest department are doing a great job maintaining the wildlife reserve. Being a nature buff, I loved the safari. We saw crocodiles, deer, elephants, wild boar, wild buffalo, mongoose and 7-8 species of birds (Srilankan National Bird also). The only thing we couldn't see was Leopard :(. Later we went to Galle Fort Area. Great place to shop, it has lot of tasty food joints, built in Dutch Style and the entire place a nice vibe to it. That day we stayed at Nor Lanka hotel in Unawantuna. Superb location, great host (Norwegian settled in SL), we loved the complimentary ice, snacks and soft drinks :). Day 5(Tue): Again we had started early from hotel to Mirissa for whale & dolphin watching. Ferry leaves the coast at sharp 7am. We extremely lucky to see at least 6-7 blue whales and saw close to 40-50 dolphins. It was the best moment of the trip for most of us !!! Later we went to Hikkaduwa, where we relaxed by the beach-side restaurant called 'Mamas', great sunset view is guaranteed !! We stayed at Earl's Reef, the best hotel we had stayed so far in the trip. Beach facing with all the amenities. Must stay for all :).. We had planned water-sports but had to shift it to last day. Missed Jungle Boat Safari! Day 6(Wed): Started early for Scuba diving (all were going for the first time), again we were lucky enough to find conducive weather for Scuba diving. We spotted coral reef, lobster and 5-6 different types of fish. Overall good experience then only minus we couldn't manage to take underwater pics :/ However, it will always remain fresh in our memories :P. That was the last thing for the trip which will remain very close to our hearts in the years to come. Constructive Feedback: (1) After reaching the Casino we came to know that almost every hotel in Colombo gets free scratch coupons. In which, there are some guaranteed free chips. We were not knowing this, please make sure you inform the travelers and hotel guys about this. (2) We had to somewhat struggle to find good veg food. All were veggies, make sure you have a big list of restaurants that serves good veg food. I know SL is famous for its seafood but none of us eat non-veg. Srilanka is truly beautiful and perfect place for wildlife enthusiasts, beach lovers, gamblers and for many adventure sport freak !! Make your vacations great again :P Special thanks to IamSrilanka team, Dilani and Chinthaka. You guys were very helpful :) With Love, Subham Maheshwari Disha Agarwal Geetanshu Bhatia Hitaishi Kothari Ravi Sharma

Myself and my wife made he trip between Nov 4- Nov 10 . On arrival on 4th , we were received by Mr Mintu. A Swift car was provided. We straight drove to Kasiranga National Park on the same day at reached by 12 Midnight. We were provided a room at TG Resort. It was comfortable. On day 2 we went to Jeep Safari by 9.0 AM in the Kasiranga National Park. We traveled in the Jeep the entire permitted route. We could site only one elephant, group of deers, a big lizard. By 12 noon it was over. After lunch, we went to Orchid park. We spent a couple hours there. The driver, Mr Saifudeen was a good person. He almost knows every important places. The only problem is communication. He knows Assame and Hindi . But we are not having fluency in any of them.. With our broken Hindi we some how managed. Then are we call the Tour organizer Mr Mintu and ask him to talk to the driver. On day 3, we went for theelephnat safari. We started the safari by 7.0 AM. There were a dozen such elephants along with ours. It was really an awesome trip. We saw about a dozen Rhinos, wild Buffalo and wild boar. After we traveled to Shillong and stayed in Highwinds hotel. An OYO managed hotel. It was also a comfortable room. We spent 3 days there visitig Seeapunje, living root bridge, sven siater falls, Daki river, Bangaladesh Border etc. From SHilong we went to Guwahathi. We visited Umananda temple after cursing through the Brambuthra river. The next day we went to Kamakae temple and ened our tour on th e8th day. The whole trip was arranged perfectly. Tapas's 8 days trip to Sri Lanka

The schedule prepared by Self Holidays is too crowded. We could hardly see anything in Colombo -just a temple and a museum (not recommended). Kandy too requires a little more time. At Nuwara Eliya we had adequate time to visit the town and surrounding attractions. The safari at Yala is a must and is indeed a great experience. The Boat rides were a new experience for me as we had never gone into the lagoon.Unfortunately we were not taken on the Galle city tour along with the other places of interest in Galle. As for Negambo there was only an evening spent there (we did not go through Colombo) and reached the hotel only at around 5p.m. We were to report at Colombo at 3.30a.m and so used the intervening time to repack and get a little rest before leaving for the airport to catch our return flight. The cooperation received from the travel agents Travel Triangle and Self Holidays was very good. The Driver cum guide was a knowledgeable person and was well known at most of the hotels. He in fact treated us to a sumptuous Sri Lankan lunch at his home near Bentota. Yala Sanctuary, we were fortunate enough to see a leopard. There were also plenty of other animals and birds- Bear, elephants, wild boars, deers, wild buffaloes, crocodiles along with number of birds whose names I do not recollect presently but peacocks were plentiful. The Laluna Resort at Bentota was impressive. The location was simply awesome being on the river bank and also so close to the sea. The flowers and foliage was truly beautiful. The resort staff were most gracious and cooperative. The other hotel that impressed me was Gregory's Bungalow at Nuwara Eliya for it's location on the lake side. The staff were indeed very cordial. Nuwara Eliya was indeed a beautiful and charming hill station. Sri Lanka is a charming country all green and with lots of flowers and foliage. The roads are indeed in very good condition and the traffic very disciplined. We who are used to constant blowing of horns were indeed pleasantly surprised by the absence of horns. The cities are clean and the infrastructure well maintained.People are very friendly. We had no language problem as almost every person knows passable English. Indeed a traveler's paradise.
