Best time to visit Goa

Goa in Winters

The best time to travel to goa is during the onset of winters (November, December, January, February). The reason why one must choose winter is that during the summer the temperature reaches up to 40 degrees. The sand on the beaches keeps getting hotter. The salty water of the beach irritates your skin because of the heat. It is a coastal area so the weather remains humid every time during the summer. But this is the season for those who travel from a cold area and come here to soak the sun.

Goa in Summers

Though in the morning the weather is hot but during the evening it gets pleasant. The best time in summers is the early morning beach walk. So one should go in the early morning or late evening as in the afternoon going to the beach can be risky. It is best to stay indoors to avoid sunburns and heatstroke.

Goa in Monsoons

The season one needs to avoid is the monsoons. Right when June begins all the water sports are closed because the waves start getting high. One can still go to the beach but lifeguards will be present to tell you how far can you go inside.

This is the season when you do not have a crowd and can enjoy a very relaxing holiday. Because this is an off-season, one can get all the bookings is a much lower price than usual. This goes with shopping, tattoo making and casinos as well. The season is a hidden gem for people who have scorching heat during June and July. The smell of wet sand all around after tedious heat can be very relaxing.

By Road

Traveling to Goa with a car or bus by road can be very happening and blissful. The in-state travel can only be good if one is traveling from Karnataka or Maharashtra. Because it is reachable and not a long journey. The routes that primarily connect Goa are NH-4 and NH-17 National Highways. If one opts for travel by bus, there are good amount of buses that connect especially from Bangalore, Mumbai, and Pune which will take about 12-14 hours of travel by road.

I did not get a new cab as promised while booking, also initially i was promised during booking that luggage will be kept on top, but it was not so during trip. This lead to congestion in sitting. Hotels booking and timely cab service is good.

Best service. Only thing I would like to highlight is about the driver. It would be very helpful if the driver is native and can speak local language. The driver should guide tourists and suggest which place should be given priority during sight seeing.

Sayan's 5 days trip to Goa

Pros: 1) Cab was timely. 2) Hotel location was good. 3) Covered all the points promised. 4) Kept all the promises. 5) Was available on call or message (whenever needed). 6) Food was good in the hotel. Corns: 1) As soon as you accept the offer the travel executive will make your life hell for the r
est of the payments. I was assigned Firdous who used to start the day with message/call to release payment even sometimes before time. It was not my first experience with TT agents but sorry to say it was the worst one. You will feel that you have opted a wrong travel agent. 2) On the name of 4 star hotel we were given a 3 start hotel. Towels were dirty, no tea table or a single chair. 3) AC was not working in one room. 4) While return journey from Hotel to Airport we were asked to compromise in a sedan even though I paid for SUV. When I strictly denied they gave SUV. Surprisingly Firdous was not available on phone at that time. 5) We booked hotel for 3 nights and 4 days. But the hotel was asking to leave the room before time itself. Again they were asking to compromise in a single room even though we paid for 2 rooms. Seems there was no synchronization between hotel and Bindas Trips. It was a big mess after reaching. Better to opt for other travel agent for Goa.

Vishal Rongre

Pune

Vishal's 5 days trip to Goa

At the time of office booking, it was agreed and also mentioned on the invoice that the remaining amount would be paid on Day 1. However, upon reaching the hotel, the hotel was instructed not to allow check-in due to pending payment, which was never communicated to us in advance. This resulted in a
check-in delay of nearly 2 hours. Additionally, we had to follow up every day to obtain the point-of-contact details and driver information, which should have been shared proactively. We also paid charges for the dinner cruise and water activities for 3 persons, but the actual booking was made for only 2 persons.
