Hyderabad reaches the Andamans by air. There is no train, no road and no passenger ship from Hyderabad to the islands. You fly from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) to Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair / Sri Vijaya Puram (IXZ). The only sea route to the Andamans runs from Kolkata, Chennai and Visakhapatnam, not Hyderabad. Most Hyderabad travellers fly one-stop via Chennai, Bengaluru or Delhi, about 5 to 7 hours total including the layover.
