About Kalapathar Beach in Andaman

Located next to the Kala Pathar Village in Havelock Island, Kalapathar Beach is a surreal beach with clean and golden sand and turquoise blue water. The cool breeze that blow here is soothing and enchanting. It is a perfect place to unwind your senses and try some yoga. It is a great place to explore if you are on a solo travel trip to Andaman as here you will find a purpose to your life and you will be delighted to see the untouched beauty of nature. Green bushes and forest surrounding the beach’s coastline making it more appealing.mIt seems like nature has bestowed its blessing on this beach as it is just picture-perfect.

One can just relax and sunbathe here enjoining the mesmerizing landscape. The beach is lined with black rocks (hence the name Kala Pathar) along the seashore that looks amazing and gives the beach postcard-perfect setting. During the peak season, local vendors sell coconut water and mango juice at this beach so you can enjoy sipping a drink while enjoying the pristine views. Kalapathar Beach in Havelock is a great picnic spot for people who are coming with friends or families. There are a couple of chairs and umbrellas at the beach where tourists can relax and chill.

Kalapathar Beach is a hidden gem as most of the tourists flock to the famous Radhanagar Beach hence it is a secluded beach and a great place to visit for those who are looking for seclusion and some peace time. There are no shacks here and the beach is in total seclusion. One can bring their own food and hammock here to spend some cozy time amidst the natural beauty.

    I would like to highlight few points of appreciation, 1. The entire vacation trip was very well planned. 2. The cabs were on time with prompt communication at every point of visit and hotels including airport pickup and drop. 3. The Hotels were very good and we were welcomed warmly and also food w
    as great. 4. The tickets to ferry and boats and activities were properly arranged with clear communication. 5. We did not face any sort of issue or delay whatsoever. 6. Candle light dinner arrangement was wonderful. and very few points which could have been better, 1. Complimentary snorkelling you provided was for 5 to 7mins, but there we were charged 1200/person saying complimentary is just training for 2mins. Probably this was a miscommunication here. 2. Since Chidiyatapu was far away, the cab should have arrived early. We reached right at sunset time. 3. Even Radhanagar beach we reached late and the complimentary photography was a total waste, as the photographer came after sunset and his camera had issues, all the images are blurred. His friend took 3 pics which are good but then it was already completely dark.
