Andaman Tour Packages From Hyderabad: rated 4.9/5 (based on 23485 reviews) | Packages starting from ₹8,299/-

Introduction

Planning an Andaman & Nicobar tour from Hyderabad? TravelTriangle puts every Hyderabad-routed trip in one place: flights from Rajiv Gandhi International (HYD) to Port Blair (now Sri Vijaya Puram), island-hopping ferries to Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) and Neil (Shaheed Dweep), hotels and sightseeing, packaged and priced per person. Instead of stitching flights, ferries and stays yourself, you get curated 4-to-8-day itineraries you can fully customise, extend the scuba day, add a honeymoon stay, or switch to a budget hotel, handled by a real trip expert.
Compare the Hyderabad packages below, see what each costs per person, and book the one that fits your dates and budget.

How to Reach Andaman From Hyderabad

Hyderabad reaches the Andamans by air, there is no train, no road and no passenger ship from Hyderabad to the islands. You fly from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) to Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair / Sri Vijaya Puram (IXZ); the only sea route to the Andamans runs from Kolkata, Chennai and Visakhapatnam, not Hyderabad. Most Hyderabad travellers fly one-stop via Chennai, Bengaluru or Delhi (about 5–7 hours total including the layover). Seasonal direct flights have operated on the HYD–Port Blair sector, check live schedules when you book.

Mode Route from Hyderabad Approx time Notes
Flight (1-stop) HYD → Chennai/Bengaluru/Delhi → IXZ ~5–7 hrs total Most common; verify fare band
Flight (direct) HYD → IXZ (seasonal) ~2h 40m Check live schedules
Train Not available to the islands N/A Rail only reaches the mainland ports
Ship Not from Hyderabad N/A Sea route is ex-Kolkata/Chennai/Vizag only

Best Time to Visit Andaman From Hyderabad

The best time to fly from Hyderabad to the Andamans is October to May, when seas are calm, visibility for scuba and snorkelling is at its best, and ferries to Havelock and Neil run reliably. The October–February window is peak (book early around Diwali, Christmas–New Year and Sankranti, when Hyderabad demand spikes and fares climb). March–May is warm but still excellent for water sports and usually cheaper. The southwest monsoon (June–September) brings rough seas and frequent ferry cancellations, avoid it for an island-hopping trip. Because Hyderabad fares peak over the festive and Sankranti holidays, booking 6–8 weeks ahead is the single biggest way to cut the package cost.

Sample 5N/6D Itinerary From Hyderabad

Day 1: Fly HYD → Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram); evening at Corbyn's Cove, Cellular Jail Light & Sound Show.

Day 2: Ferry to Havelock (Swaraj Dweep); Radhanagar Beach (Asia's top-rated beach) at sunset.

Day 3: Havelock: scuba diving or snorkelling at Elephant Beach; leisure.

Day 4: Ferry to Neil (Shaheed Dweep); Bharatpur, Laxmanpur & Natural Bridge.

Day 5: Return to Port Blair; Ross Island (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Dweep) & North Bay.

Day 6: Fly Port Blair → Hyderabad. Fully customisable: add Baratang's limestone caves, a honeymoon stay, or a second scuba day.

Permits, ID & Travel Tips

Do Indian citizens need a permit for the Andamans? No, Indian nationals do not need a permit to visit the main islands (Port Blair, Havelock, Neil); just carry a government photo ID for the flight and hotel check-in. Some areas (e.g. tribal reserves, certain parts of Baratang) need a separate local permit arranged on the spot. Foreign nationals no longer need the RAP for most islands but should confirm current rules. Pack light cottons, reef-safe sunscreen and any scuba medical clearance; mobile data is patchy on Havelock and Neil, so download maps before you ferry across.

Jagan's 7 days trip to Andaman

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Testimonial for Peral Andaman Our Andaman trip was truly unforgettable, and all the credit goes to Peral Andaman for their excellent planning and support. From ferry bookings and hotel arrangements to sightseeing and activity coordination, everything was managed professionally and without a
ny hassle. The team was always available to assist us, ensuring our journey was smooth and enjoyable. The ferry travel between Port Blair, Havelock, Neil Island, and Ross Island was well coordinated, and their guidance helped us make the most of our time. The early morning sightseeing, the unique 58 km convoy journey through the tribal reserve, the breathtaking beaches, and the amazing water sports made this trip one of the best vacations we've had. My suggestion to anyone visiting Andaman is to plan at least 6 nights and 7 days to enjoy the islands at a relaxed pace. Thank you once again, Peral Andaman, for your outstanding service, hospitality, and continuous support. We highly recommend your team to anyone planning an Andaman holiday. A big thank you to Peral Andaman for helping make our Andaman trip a wonderful and memorable experience. Everything was very well organized, and your support throughout the journey was truly appreciated. Your excellent coordination, prompt assistance, and friendly service made our vacation completely stress-free. We had an amazing time because of your team's efforts. A few tips for anyone planning an Andaman trip: - Ferry tickets should be booked well in advance, especially for the routes Port Blair → Havelock → Neil Island → Port Blair → Ross Island, to get the best timings and avoid last-minute issues. - Be prepared for early mornings. Most sightseeing starts between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM, and you'll usually return to your hotel only around 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM after a full day of activities. - One of the unique experiences is the 58 km journey through the tribal reserve, where travel is allowed only with a police convoy while going and returning. It is a truly different experience and offers a glimpse of the region's unique environment. - The destinations are absolutely beautiful, and the water sports and adventure activities are fantastic. They are a must-try for anyone visiting the islands. Overall, I highly recommend planning at least 6 nights and 7 days to comfortably explore the major islands and enjoy all the attractions without rushing. Once again, thank you, Peral Andaman, for your outstanding support and making our holiday so special. I highly recommend your services to anyone planning an Andaman vacation!

Mr's 5 days trip to Andaman

Overall Experience: While the itinerary ultimately covered all the promised destinations, the first few days of the trip were highly stressful due to poor breakfast service, below-average accommodations, transportation discrepancies, and lack of support from both the booking partner and local agent
s. 1. Breakfast Service (First 2 Days) Day 1: My flight timings changed, and I requested an early breakfast, which was denied. While I understood the policy, it set a disappointing tone. Day 2: We had an early morning checkout to travel to Havelock Island. We were provided a packed breakfast consisting only of low-quality bread, butter, jam, and a packed mango juice. This was highly unsatisfactory. 2. Havelock Island Accommodations & Itinerary Delays Resort Quality: The resort provided on Havelock Island was extremely poor. The rooms felt like below-average huts, resulting in a terrible experience. Service Delay: It took almost an hour of arguing to get our room changed. Lack of Local Agent Support: Because of the room change, our itinerary ran late. The local agent asked why we were running late and insensitively suggested we should have gone on the tour first and changed rooms later. It is unreasonable to expect guests to go out without freshening up first. 3. Transport Issues Havelock Island: We were initially given an Alto to travel to Radhanagar Beach, which did not match what was promised during booking. After confronting the agent, they upgraded us to a Scorpio for the return journey to the resort. Neil Island: The driver on Neil Island was incredibly rushed, constantly forcing us to hurry through our sightseeing because he had another group of guests waiting for his next trip. 4. Discounts and Financial Discrepancies We were promised a 40% discount on water sports activities, but this was not honored. We were forced to pay the full price/whatever rate was quoted on-site, with zero assistance from your team. 5. Booking Partner & Coordinator Support The resort provided on Neil Island was very good, and the final legs of the trip went smoothly. However, the travel partner we booked through provided almost no assistance during the trip. It felt like we had to figure everything out on our own, and we were left entirely at the mercy of the local agent. Conclusion The lack of coordination, poor initial accommodations, and unhelpful local support made the first few days of our vacation incredibly uneasy and stressful. I expect a formal response regarding the unhonored discounts and the standard of service provided
