While the Jordan Valley, mountains of the Dead Sea, and Wadi Araba experience Mediterranean climate, the northeastern regions of the country have an arid desert weather pattern. Hot and dry summers last from May to September, with average temperatures around 32 °C. The winter season with occasional rainfall lasts from November to March, with the mean temperature of around 13 °C.
