1. Buddhist Monastery

2. Kalipokhri Lake

3. Tonglu Lake

How To Reach
By Air
You can book a direct flight to Bagdogra Airport, which is the nearest airport connected to major cities. If you wish to trek to Sandakphu, you can take a bus or private taxi for a 3 hour trip from the Airport to Manebhanjan. If not, you could also make a direct 4-hour journey to Sandakphu.
By Train
The major broad gauge railway station nearest to Sandakphu is New Jalpaiguri. It is a 4-hour journey to Sandakphu from New Jalpaiguri which can be covered in a bus or private cab.
By Road
You could reach Sandakphu via a 2-3 days trek of 32 kilometres starting from Manebhanjan or have a private car like a Jeep or Land Rover to take you to the top.
Best Time To Visit
June to September are breeding seasons of Singalila National Park due to which it remains closed and tourists cannot pass through it to reach Sandakphu. Every other month of the year is perfect for booking a Sandakphu tour package.
Winters
November to March are preferred by tourists who would love to enjoy a fresh snowfall. Sandakphu becomes a winter wonderland with temperatures ranging from 1 °C to 6 °C.
