Siliguri Tour Packages

The experience with the Travel Agent has been GOOD.. it may have been better but for the dusty Taxis provided in few places like Gangtok, sweating drivers in places like Pelling. Other places in Taxis and drivers were good.. when the booking were done for have Travelpedia as the Agent we agreed to pay Rs 2,000 extra to have a NEAT CLEAN , Innova vehicle on a Through and through basis wherein a single car and driver stay with us from day one to last day. But in reality the allocation was made on a point to point basis in different locations.. The Hotels booked at Siliguri, Gangtok and Pelling were good as promised. Neat rooms, good food, good service. But the Hotel Sumitel booked @ Darjerling is the WORST we have experienced in our life. It is located about 250 mts away from the Post office.. and you need to pull your suitcases all the way to a furlong or above to reach a small, dingy hotel.. the approach road is a narrow walking path lane that goes through residential areas and roadside shops.. everybody will be observing you when you are pulling or carrying the suitcases. On paper it is proposed as a 4* hotel.. but in reality it might be a 2* or less. Hence we have to vacate it and move to Ramada , Darjeeling by paying @ Rs 15,000 for two nights additionally.. this Hotel should never be recommended to any visitors.. Now the payment made to Travel Triangle by is Rs 131,500.. as it was invoiced to us.. against an Agreed and finalised quote of Rs 130,000 plus Rs 600 as Convenience fees for two Paxs @ Rs 300 each.. we are yet to receive the extra amount of Rs 900.. Overall the rating could be 4/5... Great Stay at Gangtok all site seeing places, great visit to Pelling and visit to Hanchanajunga Waterfall, Skywalk are a must.. we missed out on the visit to North Sikkim as the roads to Lachun and Lachen and closed due to a natural disaster recently.. Darjeeling Toy train ride, Tiger Hill trip.. was great. With clear skies all through. Great view of Mount Kanchenjunga.. Great food, great service in hotels and no upset stomachs. Overall its a great time to visit Sikkim and Darjeeling.. and we had very good time. Rating 4/5

While the experience inside Bhutan was very good, be it in terms of hotels, cab, driver, guide, etc. but it was equally horrifying inside India. At the Bagdogra Airport, the cab driver kept sitting inside the cab and was giving directions to us to search and reach out to him. The cab was dirty and the driver didn’t bother to clean it at all. The cab AC started to cool only after about an hour after the cab left behind Siliguri. While coming back from Jaigaon to Bagdogra, the cab was changed from Innova to Ertiga without our knowledge and consent. However, the worst came when the Ertiga driver refused to switch the AC on saying that he’s not getting enough so as to switch on the AC. After a lot of commotion, and a call to Nitesh, the travel agent, the cab driver switched the AC on. We were still left to get one more surprise, the driver was driving extremely rash. I would long to forget the cab experience within West Bengal. Bhutan driver, guide, scenic beauty and Bhutanese people - all were amazing. Would love to go there again, but by taking direct flight to Paro, even though it’s costly, but worth it.

Mrs. Khinamaya from Bhutan Inc has given very good very competitive package. Prior to booking, she has given all information patiently, supported throughout the journey. Regarding itinerary, only scope for improvement is haa valley view point was not covered(as it was mentioned in our itinerary), guide told that there is no such thing like haa valley view point. Otherwise all view points are covered. Regarding Hotels, all hotels are good, with enough amenities, good hygiene, tasty breakfast and ofcourse good hospitality. Only scope for improvement - Hotel in Siliguri is too poor in hygeine and in service. At this price , a good hotel may be found , even if hotel has less ameneties , good hygiene is essential, i think. Damchen resort in punakha is good but room size is too small. Regarding our travel and guide Timely Pickup and drop, comfortable vehicle. The guide, named Bijay, is humble, very knowledgeable, helpful and giving truthful information most of the times Only scope for improvement is changing tyres of vehicle can be done by driver, Sandip, before scheduled travel so tourist don't have to wait. InPhobjika, view from the hotel Yue Loki, was superb... Tiger nest hike was memorable...

Just finished north Sikkim and Darjeeling trip, we had a wonderful experience. We had started our journey from Siliguri and reached Gangtok. We had a plan for Nathula, baba mandir but due to bad weather the plan cancelled. But we don’t have any complaints because we saw heaven called north Sikkim. Thank you #trip2hills for arranging the entire trip beautifully. Thank you #suren for awesome company and guidance. We saw how skilfully you drive in such dangerous road and we did not feel any fear at all. Only we had issue with lachen hotel and their staff behaviour. We did not expect such a bad quality of hotel. Overall we are satisfied with the plan and most recommended to all. Gurudongmar and kala pathhar journey

There were some minor hiccups while doing check-in in One of Darjeeling's hotels and after her intervention, they shifted us to another room, Apart from this all things were done as mentioned in the itineraries. The cabs were clean and the drivers were good and helpful. Those who are planning to visit Sikkim, go ahead with Bina's travels. They are experienced, always happy to help and will not bother you again-2 for payment. Tips for travelers: Prefer heater cabs if you are traveling in winter, especially for lachen and lachung.

Rohit's kind approach resulted is us booking airline tickets through him/Kingsland as well. We also booked tickets for Bagdogara/Siliguri through Rohit. Thanks, a lot for your efforts/service. The hotels booked Jagat Hotel (Udaipur), Laxmi Palace Heritage hotel (Jaipur) & Mandore Guest House were all great with nice breakfast. We loved them all. Had a memorable trip of Sikkim (Gangtok, Pelling, Lachen, Lachung). Mr. Prashant Singh organized the trip nicely. On the day of arrival, we reached Siliguri quite late than ETA so it was not possible to reach Gangtok. But, Mr Prashant managed to provide temporary hotel in Siliguri instead. That was good. Lachen and Lachung trips were excellent, driver was also very nice. Gangtok trip was also very good. Had some up-downs for Peilling trip, as hotel voucher was not working and had to switch hotel for 2nd day. Driver was not paying for parking despite inclusion of parking fees. Though it was refunded later by travel agent. One point of improvement would be, they out source the traveling and sometimes drivers are on 3rd or 4th sub-contract so, issues like timing, parking fees etc. arises, if this could be taken care then it would be good. Overall trip experience was good. Tourists were less during our visit, otherwise it would have been much better. No compliants on travel agency services, hotels and locations. Only thing which has bothered is food which is served tasteless and also minimum quantity in lachen hotel, also it is understandable that everything has to come from Siliguri through gangtok, travel issues exists. Lachen staying hotel was wonderful

I am extremely thankful to Ms. Nikita & Mr. Vikram for arranging an perfect vacation tour for my family. I found them very courteous, polite, available 24/7 and their arrangement & coordination during the entire trip was mind-blowing. Also, both the allotted cabs & cab drivers were very professional, understanding & humble in nature. Mr. Niraj, Mr. Dipak and Mr. Paul are their best drivers who makes your journey to new places very comfortable. I'd strongly recommend Tourepedia to my friends & office colleagues or whosoever wishes to travel Sikkim (Gangtok, Darjeeling, Nathu-la, Siliguri, etc...).

Hotel in siliguri was pathetic.. cigarette smoke smell everywhere. Stay in udaan dekeling resort..
