Rajkumar's 9 days trip to Char Dham

We booked with Amazing Uttarakhand through Traveltriangles from 29th April to 7th May 2018 for Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. While overall the trip went on well there were glitches which could have been avoided from the beginning. I may say that Hem Chandra and Mridul Tiwari of Travel Triangle and Akhilesh ,Sonali and Sonu of Amazing Uttarakhand have been extremely co-operative and helpful in resolving issues and soothing anxiety caused due to avoidable shortcomings many times. Although in many places the hotel was shown as being in one place those were located in different place. At times at 25 km away. For example Hotel Prince was indicated in Barkot but is actually located in Naugaon, Location of the hotels were invariably away from convenient centres. This also makes comparision with other agents offerings difficult. Bad facilities were more than made up by extremely courteous and helpful staff at those places. At Hotel Prince the owners were so caring that it did give a feeling of being a part of their family. All hotels beds and toilets were clean which is the basic requirement travellers want. Except Hotel Ganga in Hridwar. That was bad and done as last minute arrangement. My suggestion to anybody booking with any agent is to keep verifying all the details again and again and make your expectations very clear. At times the hotels may deny having the bookings. These issues were resolved with the intervention of agency but it would be helpful if the travellers reconfirm that with the hotel. With mad rush and demand these are likely to happen and blaming anybody will not help when you are stranded. The car and the driver provided to me were excellent. The driver knew all the places on the way and gave enough time to spend where we would like to. Overall I am satisfied with my experience with both Travel Triangle and Amazing Uttarakhand. All my apprehension and issues raised by me were resolved by them quickly.
