About Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi

Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi is a luxurious 5 star beachfront hotel which stands as an ideal example for the unification of magnificence and grandeur. The main palace of this golden-sandy architecture runs about a kilometre long and its gardens and surroundings cover 100 hectares of area. This majestic creation has 114 domes, with the central dome being at a height of 72.6 metre above the ground. Emirates palace has 1,005 chandeliers, out of which the largest one weighs 2.5 tonnes. The grand halls and corridors showcase the display of Arabian designs along with marvellous central passageways and ceilings for the guests and visitors. The hotel has a private beach and also the provisions for jogging and cycling trails, spa, 2 fitness centres, kids’ club and adventure and leisure pools. The 14 restaurants of this Palace are a delight for the guests, including Al Qasr-a steakhouse, Sayad for mouth watering sea food, Mezzaluna for Italian servings, Mezalai for Arabic delicacies, Le Brasserie for international cuisine and buffet, Hakkasan for Chinese, Cascades and Las Brias for snacks, Diwan L’auberage for Lebanese and an amazing café called the Le Café. This destination offers a lot for photography as well. As a special cookie, the palace also has a huge auditorium, a grand ballroom, 40 meeting rooms and 12 press rooms. The hotel also offers bike rentals, yoga sessions, camel rides, water skiing, and motor boating along with tennis courts, cricket pitch and a jogging path.

The project for Emirates Palace started in the year 2001 and got completed in 2005 when it finally opened its gates. This majestic palace is owned by Kempinski Hotels & Resorts. While being anywhere near Abu Dhabi, the Emirates Palace surely needs to be on your list.
