About Formula Rossa
The Ferrari World Formula Rossa is a part of the theme park, and it is hailed as one of the fastest rides in the world. During its planning stage, the Formula Rossa ride was called F Coaster, and it opened for the first time for the public on 4th November 2010. Manufactured by Intamin, Formula Rossa coaster runs on a 2.07-kilometer track, powered by 20,800 horsepower. The ride for this roller coaster begins in a waiting air of a pre-controlled temperature. The ride makes use of a hydraulic winch system for its launch which is similar to the ones found in jet planes. The key challenge in building this massive roller coaster was how to obtain the desired speed without compromising the protection of the passengers

The Abu Dhabi Formula Rossa takes one from 0 to 100 km in 2 seconds. Furthermore, it makes use of a hydraulic winch system for its start. Furthermore, the roller coaster is designed to look similar to “Rosso Scuderia,” the F1 Ferrari car. This ride can take 16 passengers in four different cars. The ride’s most thrilling aspects are sharp turn the coaster cars make during the ride.
