By Air:
You cannot fly directly to Orchha as there are no direct flights. The nearest airports are Gwalior and Khajuraho Airport. Gwalior airport is around 140 km away, whereas The Khajuraho is 143 km afar. By Road:
There is no direct connectivity to Orchha by road. The bus stop situated in Jhansi at a distance of 16 km is the nearest to Orchha.

Summer Season (March- June) –

Jahangir Mahal –
Built as a fort and watch tower for Mughals to have control over the region of Bundela Kingdom, Bharat Bhushan completed this palace in 1598. It is the classic epitome of Mughal architecture. The arches are made according to the culture and customs of Mughals, and the lawns were made enormous to facilitate the ease of entry of elephants during wars.

Phool Bagh -
It is a beautiful garden that depicts the philosophies of Bundelas. Many fountains leading to eight pillared pavilions are present in Phool Bagh. This beautiful garden is constructed in the memory of Prince Dinman Hardaul, who committed suicide to prove his loyalty to his elder brother.
