Phuentsholing Family Packages

Jampa Dubjur (JD) was our tour guide in this trip and Haapa Dorji was the driver accompanying us. They were kind, knowledgeable and very accommodating. They made sure we had a good time during the long drives! Following hotels were provided to us : 1. Phuentsholling : Hotel Legphel -> 2km away from the main town. The rooms were excellent, hygienic and food was pretty good too! 2. Thimphu : Hotel Takhtsang -> Located at the centre of the city, but the room was decent, however the food was good! 3. Punakha : Hotel Khurukhuru -> Located at the centre of the city. The rooms were great, hygienic and food was pretty good too! 4. Phobjika : Hotel Odiyana -> This hotel has a great view of the Phobjika valley. However, the room was pretty average. The food was pretty good(however, despite booking for a breakfast in advance. IT was over way early.) 5. Paro : Hotel Ratna Vara -> Located at the centre of the city, The rooms were excellent, hygienic and food was pretty good too! I had always heard that Bhutanese are very deep rooted to their culture and pretty genuine in keeping their tourist happy. JD, Dorji and Sharmila proved that it was true. If you’re planning for a trip to Bhutan, I would highly recommend to go with Green Zone Destination Tours! Tiger Nest hike and Hot Stone bath after a grueling hike was the best experience!

Whether we were out of cash, wanted to try authentic Bhutanese food, shop at reasonable prices, or simply needed privacy to explore, every request was handled patiently and respectfully. We always felt supported without feeling restricted. A very special mention to Guruji and Tashi for prioritizing our health and comfort. Considering how challenging the roads can be in some parts of Bhutan, we feel extremely lucky to have had Guruji as our driver. He was caring, experienced, and looked after us like an elder, without ever getting into our personal space. Thank you once again for a beautiful experience and for going above and beyond to make our trip memorable.

car arranged was also cooperative. The tour guide was also well natured and accompanied us at all places. I will recommend the tour operator for Bhutan trips. Park Hotel in Phuentsholing is not recommended for stay as the breakfast has very limited menu and the mils served is just milk powder in hot milk. They do not have a medical kit in case of any medical emergencies which is very probable as it is a hilly region. The wifi is extremely slow that you can maybe use whatsapp just for chat. Tiger Nest resort does not have a good approach road and also the food service is slow. Post Card Dewa is highly recommended property if it fits your budget. Extremely cordial staff and the chef there is skilled. The food will be catered to your needs. The property is beautiful.

next hotels , HENCE very good experience at THIMPU , punakha & paro . Hotel at bagdogra was changed , without our knowledge .Indrapuri hotel was a dirty one , with no proper entrance from road . It gave us negative image of our valley tour & treks . We still do not know why "the orbit" was changed ? FOOD :- The qwality of food was not that of a three star hotels in all hotels. VEHICLE :- In sikkim innova provided by you was not fit for hilli area , ie . vehicle tyres were verey old & slippery . the tyres were required to be changed a year ago . However our driver shri RAKESH SHARMA , was very expert , who saved our life , when vehicle slipped on hills 2 times . The vehicle did not had a active mobile charger point . On returning from gangtok to phuentsholling , the driver was changed to some " ugeyn" . This driver was not good enough & proper behavier . He was busy all the time in swalloing gutka & spitting on his hand. Bhutanside side vehicle was promised to be given " haice bus" . But defying promise , another vehicle " hundai H-1 " was provided., however its driver Mr. sangay was very good one .On returning from PARO to phuentsholling the vehicle was provided as haice but the driver's driving was very much rough & careless .The driver also not provided us mobile charger & dustbin facility . ( we need to emphasize here that our tour operator must reply to us on these points , or the matter be referred to immigration deptt bhutan . Guide :- our guide ms. singay was very much polite , cooperative , & with humanaterian approch On account of " not providing haice bus "& good hotels "at phuentsholling & bagdogra , WE MUST BE given refund immediately .

additional it didn't set the tone right for the trip also some sight seeing were not covered, anyways it's over now and almost a safe trip. The journey was nice with nice almost new car of Mr.Lobzang and guide Mr. Sonam was also good. Couple of restaurants were good and Thimpu hotel was great

rpo in Punakha and Khamsum in Paro were very good Driver Dilip Gurung did excellent job. Guide Pema was a very good person but needs to improve his guideing skills Bhutan is a must visit country. Humble and happy people, majestic mountains, enchanting valleys, unending greenery, mystic monasteries, zongs everything there has left a permanent mark in our hearts. Long live Bhutan.

Only other issue was during travel from Phuentsholing to Bagdogra on the last day, we asked the driver for a known restaurant option rather than local restaurant. However the driver said those options are only in the town and he could not go there, leading to no lunch stoppage. Would have preferred if our request could have been accomodated as we had ample time.
