How to Reach Baga Beach in Goa

If you are planning on visiting Baga beach and are wondering how to reach Baga beach, the information below can help you out in this regard.

For those traveling by flight to Goa, you will land at the Dabolim airport. This is about 39 kilometers from Baga beach and there are regular taxis and cabs till the beach. Getting from Goa airport to Baga Beach is pretty easy, by road.

Baga beach is one of Goa’s most vibrant and crowded tourists spots and there are plenty of activities to indulge in here and things to see. If you are looking for a buzzing party area, this beach is the perfect place to go, especially when the shacks are set up here.  The best time to visit this beach would be during the winter months from November till February. The weather is cool and the beach shacks are set out properly. You can also indulge in a number of watersports like scooter rides, jet skiing, parasailing, dolphin cruises and banana boat rides.

You can also travel by train from any part of the country to Vasco da Gama station which is 42.7 kilometers from Baga. The distance from Thivim railway station to Baga Beach is around 20 kms. It is the nearet railway station to Baga Beach. Travelers wondering about how to reach Baga Beach from Madgaon Railway Station, can easily hire a taxi for the journey. From the railway station, you can easily get a cab or taxi till the beach. This beach is also easily accessible by road and there are regular taxis and cabs till this beach as it is just about 17 kilometers from the capital Panaji. Gettin from Panjim to Baga Beach is best done via cab.
