There is a whole dearth of places to visit in Goa from exotic beaches like Baga and Anjuna to old forts like Fort Aguada and Chapora as well as churches like the Basilica of Bom Jesus and The Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. Goa beaches especially are a treat for all the senses. These beaches are probably the most popular places to visit in Goa. You can explore the beauty of Goa tourist places from royal casinos to natural wonders like waterfalls and caves and charming villages and flea markets, which are some of the most important Goa points of interest.
One of the must visit places in Goa is the Calangute beach in North Goa where you can indulge in watersports or just laze around on the beachfront. Enjoy the view of the long coastline and try some of the delicious food items at the beach shacks and restaurants here. Among other best places to visit in Goa, if you visit this beach in December, you will get to experience the celebrations of the Sunburn festival.
Other beaches you can soak up the sunshine at are the Ashwem beach in North Goa & Arossim Beach in South Goa. The swaying palm trees, the glistening sandy shores and the relaxed atmosphere of the beach shacks and restaurants here will make you feel like you are in paradise. Vagator beach is a good option if you want some solitude and peace and the red cliffs and fresh water springs make this beach a sight to behold. Baga and Anjuna are also good beaches, though they are pretty crowded most of the time. Apart from beaches, there are also several places to visit in North Goa. In fact, there are also many places to visit in Goa with family, if traveling with family. For honeymoon couples, there are also several places to visit in Goa for honeymoon.
Take a trip down memory lane by exploring Fort Aguada that lies on Sinquerim beach and view the various buildings here. Some of these buildings have been turned into a jail and the thick battlements and lighthouse are worth viewing. Another fort that is worth visiting is the Chapora fort where the movie “Dil Chahta Hain” was shot. You can get grand views of the coastline from this fort which makes for some great shots.
You should also visit the Deltin Royale Casino which is one of the major tourist attractions in Goa. Enjoy the luxury of live gaming aboard this casino ship in Panjim, North Goa where each level is filled with different gaming stations. After you are done gaming, savor some delicious seafood at the restaurants onboard the casino ship.
If you are a nature enthusiast, the Dudhsagar Falls is a must visit tourist attraction as this 4-tiered waterfall is one of the tallest in the country. Trip to GoaLittle disappointed, cause of hotel and hotel services. Lift is not available in hotel for executive rooms. Also given 4th floor last room. Room facilities also poor as per room costing or packages. You have to add more places to make trip memorable. Dolphins drive was good. Food was also good.

Trip to GoaOn day 1, car was 45 minutes late.. I had to ask the transport head about the driver details everyday... There was no proactive response from the transport head to share the driver details day before or at least in the morning of the tour. However, the driver was well spoken and well behaved... It would be great if the driver was experienced as driver was new to Goa.. (3 months old) Riva resort is a great place to stay in.. And have well spoken staff and good food options....
