Dwarka can be visited all round the year but the best time to visit Dwarka is winters. Being a part of the ‘Char dham’ yatra Dwarka attracts pilgrims all over the world. Located at the mouth of the Gomti River, this town is home to the Dwarkadhish temple built over 2500 years ago. This is the biggest draw for the pilgrims with over a million pilgrims visiting every year. Dwarka is also said to be one of the Sapta cities of ancient India.

Summer Season in Dwarka

The temperatures in the region tend to vary between hot and cold. Summers are when the temperatures rise high enough to become suffocating and humid. The nights turn cold and chilly. The temperature in Summers ranges from 23 to 42 degrees Celsius. This is not a best time to visit Dwarka Gujarat.

Monsoon Season in Dwarka

The rains come down in medium to heavy showers in Dwarka, as it is a coastal city. The monsoons also bring city to bloom giving it a beautiful look. Temperatures range between 27- 35 degrees Celsius making it the best season to visit Dwarka.

July or August is also the time for Krishna Janmashtami, or the birthday of Lord Krishna.  According to the Hindu calendars, this day falls on the eighth day in the month of Bhadon. Dwarka takes on a different look during this period with thousands of devotees arriving here to celebrate the occasion. After fasting the whole day, when the devotees turn up to pray at the temples at midnight, (the time when Lord Krishna was born), it is the sounds of hymns and chants which rend the air. This is the best time to visit Dwarka, not just for a pilgrim, but also for a tourist as the celebrations bring out a side of Dwarka which can be seen only once a year.

Being so close to the tropics, there is no winter in Dwarka. The temperature does drop but not much and ranges from 9 to 34 degrees Celsius. This is the Best time to Visit Dwarka.

    I have booked first time through Travel triangle. I was good experience however pre trip i have to co-ordinate with the travel agent Inland Tourway several times. Mr. Vikas was the co-ordinator for trip booking he suggested me good trip plan howeven if i need some changes in the trip then we have t
    o take followup from him again and again and most of the time he does not response quickly may be he call after one to two days also some times he does not response on whatsapp also . Still after completing my trip he has not received my call also no reply on whatsapp for GST invoice. In short i would like to say that even if you are good but you should be quick responsive at least . Also At least call to your customer during trip at least once so that customer feel that you are good in your work and also care your customer. I also did not received any call during the trip so it feels like we were solely dependent on the cab driver for all good and bad.

    The hotels were good. We were disappointed with breakfast at Dwarka hotel. Also we had to walk long to visit Dwarkadhish temple which was not comfortable at all. As the cab dropped us 1km away from twmple though 4 wheelers were going till bottom of temple. Somnath and Gir were good. The overall trav
    el became hectic due to multiple visiting points which was not needed. Porbandar was very dirty and it could have been avoided in itenary. Gir stay, food and safari.
