Weather of Dharamshala:- Weather in Dharamshala generally remains pleasant and apt for travelling most time of the year. Days are a bit warm during summers with a temperature as hot as 35 degree Celsius, and nights are cold in winters as low as 2 degree Celsius. There are less chances of witnessing snowfall during winters. There are heavy rainfalls during monsoons. However, it is preferable to check the weather for the time of your journey.

Prashar Fair is held on the banks of Prashar Lake to welcome the season of summer. Dal Fair is a festival in Dharamshala celebrated on the banks of Dal Lake in August.
