There is no everyday single bus that runs Mumbai to Kasol in one go, so the surface route is done in two hops. Most travellers reach Delhi first (by train or a cheap flight), then take an overnight Volvo from Kashmiri Gate ISBT towards Bhuntar or Manali, getting down at Bhuntar for the short cab to Kasol.
