Macau Tourism (2019)

Macau titled as the Vegas of China offers you a variety of color. Macau tourism is home to some of the most famous attractions that adorn the beauty of the city of glitz and glamour which is predominantly celebrated for its gambling offerings. From stunning views of the harbor from Victoria Peak to a bustling downtown full of thrilling options, Macau is a mecca of entertainment. Venetian Macau, St Paul’s Cathedral, Disneyland, and Senado Square are some of the most popular Macau tourist attractions. A special acknowledgment goes to the Portuguese whose effort etched the city. The remnants of historic Chinese altars decked up with Portugal marbles certainly add an aroma of blended heritage which reflects through the historical places as you explore Macau.

One can easily travel between these destinations by using the Hong Kong to Macau ferry service. Travelers who are planning to spend a vacation at these destinations can use our detailed guide for a Hong Kong Macau trip which includes everything from the best time to visit, means to reach, outdoor activities, and some of the best Macau tourist places.

The best time to discover Macau is in the spring season when the city experiences typical oceanic weather. October through December is another ideal time to explore places in the city. Macau International Airport (MFM) is well connected with flights from Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Make sure to book tickets in advance to save up on Macau trip cost

Historical Places in Macau

It is time to embrace the plethora of antiquities with the pioneering tourism in Macau. To learn the ancient history of Macau, certainly, you have to touch the soil of Mandarin's house. The traditional building explicitly shows up the detailed engineering competency in the interior of the courtyards.

Next, Macau tour guide will take you to the Barra square, which is at the front portion of A MA temple, a place known for its Portuguese finish. Then a must visit a place is none but the Monte Forte, the picturesque elegance of the place along with the ravage of St Pauls will captivate you. Thus, these singular places are unprecedented treasures of history.

Attractions in Macau

The Macau tourism sets a journey to Lady of Penha, A-Ma temple. And blissful churches like St Francis Xavier church and St Lawrence church. Each of the distinguished sacred sites holds a breathtaking elegance. The prolific tourism in Macau expectantly starts the journey from a creative corner Patio de Chon said. The places have undergone a drastic transformation over the years; today it spices the alleys with vibrant shops.

Do you love to go on gambling until you drop? If yes, then the Macau tour guide will escort you to the Venetian casino, the hustling and bustling casino will spark oodles of enthusiasm. Now, if you want to play at your own pace, then take the effort to be either at the Grand Lisboa casino or the MGM Casino. Well, the tourism in Macau adds these places to let you explore the gambling world at the same time; get the flavor of the Chinese architecture as well.

Not only that, the Avant-Garde Macau tourism even plans for other Macau assets like Fortune diamond, Eiffel tower at Parisian Macau and Largo De Senado. For example, walking straight to the Largo de Senado will let you get the bliss of mixed Chinese and Portuguese lifestyle. The blend of food, language, and architecture desperately exhibits the intertwined fusion of culture.

The amazing collaboration harmonizes the two hearts with no ambiguity. Whether you sit inside a traditional Chinese temple or you simply lend your ear to the crooning of the Cantonese songs, to a great extent, they essay the saga of the blended lives. By now you are familiar with the known and unknown mysteries of Macau. Nevertheless, the city holds a lot of concealed beauty that yearns for your lyrical praises. You can land up at any time of the year and be a part of their merrymaking.

Food Tour in Macau

Again, if you are someone seeking a cultural experience to dig into the city of Macau in real sense, the best way to do that is through taking a food tour. With one of the most interesting cultural backgrounds influenced by China, India, Africa, and Portugal, this place serves a complex yet interesting palate that makes the whole experience of tourism in Macau even more enticing.

One of the best foods to savor in the city include Portugese dishes, such as codfish based recipes or egg tarts. Apart from that, your tour to this vibrant city cannot be complete unless you have relished Chinese dishes, such as noodles or dim sum along with other fusion cuisines that have been created here only, which, undoubtedly, adds a whole new drama while you get on an exploration of Macau tourism places. Crammed with a bounty of Michelin-starred restaurants, the city has established itself as a place where you can choose to splurge in award-winning eateries, and you would not regret it. While wandering through the major attractions, you must also try other popular dishes like: Bak Kwa, Pork chop bun, African chicken, Almond cookies, Bacalhau, Codfish cakes, Noodles with prawn roe, and traditional Macanese breakfast, called Minchi.

Designated as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy by Irina Bokova, here is a list of some really amazing restaurants that do not only treat your taste buds to a sumptuous experience, but also let you indulge in the history of the place. On an excursion to the city, you are recommended to stop by popular restaurants, such as The Ritz- Carlton Cafe, Lai Heen, MIAN in Studio City, Le Buffet, and other eateries that you can even include in the list of your Macau tourist spots

So, if you are on a gastronomic expedition, and the idea of getting on this tour is to celebrate life, then the city is decked with plenty of such places to cater to the needs of every fussy traveler like you- whether you are someone who loves to indulge in street foods, or someone who loves to explore fine-dining restaurants. Rest assured, the city would not disappoint you. So, just pack your bags, and get ready to set off for tourism in Macau for an experience that cannot be cherished elsewhere.

Thank You ! The trip was amazing, i loved everything, the cities, the tours, the food, the people, . HongKong & Macau are a cities to go on vacations. Our travel advisor (Manideepa) listened to our interests and then developed an itinerary that matched. The travel company i.e DESI YATRA (ASTHA) was exceptional, they took care of everything (hotels, transportation, tours, food). They were very quick answering emails and recommending all the tours and hotel options. I just told them what kind of locations i wanted to visit and they prepared the perfect itinerary for me :) I was traveling with my friend and i was looking for a travel company that could help me with everything, and they did! Everything was taken care of us, which made our international trip go smoother than we could have ever hoped. Thank You HongKong & Macau! Thank You Travel Triangle!

Must say very professionally managed booking experience and better than other more known portals I have booked earlier with. Would book again for next holiday. Things which could be better 1) recommendations of itinerary, hotel, travel insurance and SIM card option, and 2) better coordination (Was not bad) at destination country. Definitely Desert Safari with night camp dinner and Ferrari World are mandatory inclusions.
