Tips for Monkey Forest Ubud
- Following are the tips for Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. Kindly go through the guidelines before your visit. Items such as sunglasses, flashy long earrings, hats, etc are to be avoided. At times the behavior of the monkeys might cause you to lose your item
- For the wellbeing of the monkeys do not feed them with cookies, peanuts or anything apart from just fruits
- When you take photographs do not get closer to the monkeys. They might attack you as a matter of defense
- Do not forget that the forest is the home to three main temples of local faith. Wear a modest dress and plan your attire according to your visit.

We booked our tour through Taking a Break Holidays, and overall, the agency did a great job. Ramiz was incredibly helpful with planning our itinerary and was very accommodating when we asked to switch some of our hotels. The other hotels they booked for us were exactly what we asked for.
However,
we had a major issue with Pandawa Beach Resort. It was nothing like the online reviews—there was virtually no staff, no functioning kitchen, zero hygiene, and no food available. I really wish we had asked Ramiz to change this hotel for us as well. Additionally, while our driver was excellent and very professional, the car provided wasn't very comfortable. Good service from the agency, but definitely avoid that specific resort!
