The essential tips for Pura Ulun Danu Batur visit are as follows: Like any other Balinese temple, Pura Ulun Danu Batur requires every visitors to dress modestly. Legs, shoulders, and waist have to be covered. Sarongs are available on rent outside the temple premises
Do not wear footwears inside the premises of the temple
The temple accepts donations in the form of cash or food. You can drop the cash you wish to donate on the donation box and the food such as local produces can be offered to the priest for prayers inside the temple
Stay away from kids trying to sell items outside the temple. They loot foreign tourist with expensive price tags while the actual prices are far less cheap.

t/queries/clarifications that we encountered during our trip. Singapore trip was very well organised with comfortable hotel stay & pvt cab rides to the destinations. Even in Bali our cab driver who was with us for all 4 days was kind, well behaved and was supportive enough to cater our needs be it last minute change in the plans, finding a good Indian restaurant, helping to negotiate with the shop keepers while buying the things. The only disappointing part was our 3rd hotel - Ashoka Tree Resort Ubud. We got a sub standard room and also the experience was not so great with rooms stinking, leaking bathrooms. They were not kind enough to respond to our problems. Also, One of the main issue was hotel having problems with card machine, we had to go find an ATM at the late night and get the hard cash to settle their bills. This hotel can be avoided going forward by Tour hunters.
