How To Reach Hippie Island Hampi

For those wondering how to reach Hippie Island in Hampi, there are 2 ways to cross the river from Hampi. One is to take a 7-minute motorboat ride or a 15-minute coracle ride from Hampi mainland to the Hippie Island. The other alternative is to travel by road via Hospet which is around 40 kms. The nearest railway station to Hippie Island, Hampi is the Hospet junction, 13 kms away from Hampi. One can take a KSRTC bus or an auto ride to Hampi bus stand from here, just 6 kms away. The nearest airport is at Belgaum and Bellary.
