Tips for Tea Plucking in Gulmarg

Our 4-day Kashmir trip wouldn’t have been half as smooth without Khusboo and Salman. Khusboo was fantastic from the planning stage weeks before we even landed, always patient, always helpful — and trust me, I’m not easy to impress. There was a hiccup with our initial driver, but she handled it with absolute professionalism and arranged a replacement instantly. That replacement turned out to be a blessing — Salman was a god-send. Calm, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our trip memorable. Every booking and arrangement was seamless, top notch, and stress-free. Couldn’t have asked for better support.

The hotels were good and clean. With professional staff. However they were all very far away from city center. In case of gulmarg the hotel was about 13 km away from the intended location which changes the topography and ecology of the region. The travel agent also forgot to pay to the hotel causing unnecessary delays.

We had a worst experience with amazing India routes. We were told that hotels are 4 star but was given 1 star or 2 star. Hotel in gulmarg dining area stinks. Hotel in pahalgam was even worst(Woods resort) it is a old building with no safety at all. See the view from hotel as attached here. Hotel in Srinagar was better but I had book my hotel seperately as I didn't want to stay there. Travel company has no idea about requirements. They totally messed it up on my anniversary.

Hotels are good in Gulmarg and rest of the 3 days was not at all good.Especially the breakfast and Dinner arrangements are not at all satisfied.Driver and can facility is outstanding

Overall experience was good. Only one small complaint is that was driver was late all day in starting the trip.

Travel agent is changing the hotel from high category to low category and in the name of candle light dinner they make fool

Overall nice trip to Kashmir except some minor issues especially with Hotel stay.

But two things we faced during the travel which have us a bitter experience: 1. We were not intimated about the actual cost of the union cabs and guide which we needed too pay additionally. Recently we travelled Kashmir(heaven of earth) with the help of travel triangle platform. All arrangements & coordination done by Paridhi mam personally she prepared our itinerary with reasonable price in short time notice but she done all arrangements after duty hours. Our trip was wonderful the houseboat, hotel,driver cum guide all was good they truly helped us to capture golden moments. Special thanks to Paridhi and team.
