Major cities across the world are well-connected to Kerala and majority of the cities in India are connected to Kovalam by air, by road, and by sea. It is highly convenient to choose your favored mode of transport, depending on your affordability and feasibility.

A lot of people prefer traveling by air as it feels more hassle-free and less time-consuming. Car, train or bus journeys can get really tiring, rendering one without energy for the whole day. When you have to reach Kovalam by air, you must take a flight to the Trivandrum International Airport in Thiruvananthapuram, which is the nearest airport to Kovalam. The airport is just about twelve kilometers away from mainland Kovalam. From Chennai, it will take you an hour to reach Kovalam, from Bangalore too, it takes about just an hour and from Mumbai, it takes about two hours and 10 minutes.

On how to reach Kovalam by train, here are some tips that will act as a guide for you. The railway station that is the closest to Kovalam is the Trivandrum Central Railway Station. From there, you can take a cab or hop on a bus to Kovalam. The Station is just fifteen kilometers away from Kovalam, so it will take you about half an hour to forty minutes (depending on the traffic) to reach the main city. This Station has trains plying from all major cities in India, which makes it easier for a person to reach the beautiful city of Kovalam. There are direct trains to Trivandrum Railway Station from cities like Bombay (almost 18 hours), Chennai (11 hours), and Bangalore (16 hours). For those wondering how to reach Kovalam, the duration via train may seem long, but it is an inexpensive mode of transport.

You can also reach Kovalam by bus or by driving on your own. You will be able to find buses from all nearby cities like Bangalore, Madurai, Chennai, and Nagercoil, to mention a few. A bus journey with friends, family, or even a solo trip can really make one retrospect on their lives while simultaneously enjoying the landscape. You can always rent a car to reach Kovalam from nearby places. Some companies even offer cab services, but those may not always be a good option to opt for. It will surely feel more independent to rent a car and have the freedom of taking it anywhere you want. There is no binding in that but on the other hand, you can save up on other costs such as those of a taxi or buses within Kovalam.

Rajeeb's 4 days trip to Kovalam

I booked the package tour before I month of my Tour. I was very excited about this tour. My tour was from Aluva (Kerela) to Munnar and Thekaddy in Kerala. It was a road trip from Aluva. I will give my genuine Feedback. I had a discussion with Mr. Digipal Jee from Travel Triangle and Mr. Ankit from the local travels company. I would like to say that the vehicle (Desire) which was assigned to me was not up to the mark. The AC was not working properly. The temperature was very high but anyways I managed. But my Blood pressure was high when the driver asked me money for petrol. They don't even have the communication that I have paid the entire amount to Travel Triangle two days back. Thereafter I called my so called agent Mr. Digipal Jee and Ankit Jee, thereafter the issue got resolved. This shows that they are not professionals and Poor Communication between their travel agents and travel triangle. My Hotel bookings in Munnar was at "Hotel Star Emirates" it was a 4 Star Property but here also the same issue no communication on the payment matter. The receptionist asked me about the payment and here also I called Mr. Digipal Jee and Ankit and clarified that the entire amount has been paid to Travel Triangle before two days back. My family was suffering and we waited for 1 hour for Check-in. Poor Co-ordination. Now review on Room. I stayed their for 2 Nights and till my entire stay the Intercom (A Major source of Communication within the Hotel) was not working. When I complained they just told that it will be rectified soon. But till my checkout the Phone was out of order. They gave me duty manager's contact number and asked I can call in this number if anything is required. But when my son tried calling in this number to order Noodles for him the phone was not responding at that time. I waited for 10 mins in my room but i didn't recieved any kind of response form the hotel end. It was my big mistake to book my Package from Travel Triangle. I am sorry I will never repeat this mistake once Again. They also charged me Rs. 1000 extra because my son's actual age was 13 instead of I mentioned 12 Years while booking this package. The Gentleman from Travel Triangle Mr. Digipal Jee called me directly and asked to pay Rs. 1000 extra at Hotel only because my son is 1 year more elder than what I register. My point is I managed lot of non-cooperation from the travel agent but they can't managed a single mistake from my end. Thanks Travel Triangle for all this....I will never ever repeat this kind of mistake in my life.

Hiteshvijay's 4 days trip to Kovalam

It was a pleasant experience, very well organised and very helpful people. Hotels at munnar was little far away from Munnar, however it was good. The cab person and the car quality was excellent. The Breakfast items at Munnar was a bit concern as very limited options. It is better to book hotels without breakfast, as it is too costly. Overall a good experience and can again plan with you.

Pavithran's 5 days trip to Kovalam

I went for a trip to Kerala and chose Postcard for it. Nikita from the team was assisting me throughout. It was end-end well organized. They took care of everything from scratch and helped with plan as per our need. Communication was proper across the trip. Nikita was available to address all queries throughout the trip. I strongly recommend Postcard. I went for a trip to Kerala and chose Postcard for it. Nikita from the team was assisting me throughout. It was end-end well organized. Rvaishya's 5 days trip to Kovalam

Overall it was a well organised trip. Thanks Comforts for taking care of travel and setting up the iteniary. Hotels were clean and comfortable except the Houseboat. Only thing I wished it could have been better would be stay and good in Houseboat. Very limited option in Houseboat. Food didn't had any variety. Also, I booked honeymoon decoration which was missed by the houseboat team. Overall, it was good. Appreciate driver which took us most of the places as in iteniary. Munnar was excellent. Driver was friendly as well.

The travel agent were always available and were easy to contact if any inconvenience happened which was very helpful for us. The car and driver facilities were good and pleasing. The hotels provided for stay at different locations had nice accommodation but slight services and facilities in certain hotels were not so good that could be improved.
