Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. It was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. There are direct flights available from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi to the airport in Cochin. The best way to reach via train is to take a train to Aluva Railway Station which is at a distance of 108.2 km from Munnar. You can opt for a number of trains coming from Delhi.
