Munnar is a town located on the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala, It is a popular destination for tourists and one of the all-season places in Kerala. It is known as a home to an array of mountains. Blessed with lofty mountain ranges with hazy peaks, extensive tea estates, and a tranquil climate, Munnar offers a calm and peaceful environment to all tourists. Munnar is a little heaven with a cool and revitalizing climate with amazing views of low-flying clouds and mist-filled valleys. The distance between Munnar and Bangalore can be covered by air, train, and road. The most convenient way to reach Munnar from Bangalore is by taking an overnight bus. This will save time and will be comfortable.

By Air

There are no direct flights from Bangalore to Munnar. However, you can take a flight to Cochin International Airport (COK) which is at a distance of 107 km from Munnar. It takes about 1 hour from Bangalore to COK Airport. Some airlines operate on this route, like IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet, and Air Alliance that provide flights that operate daily.
