Hotels - Kovalam Hotel Ocean Bay was the bad experience. It was too unhygienic , unhygienic breakfast and washrooms , not good breakfast. Allepey Houseboat - House experience was worst. The only good part was our cook otherwise nothing was happening their. Firstly we were picked up late by 30 mins after waiting , cruise driver was so irresponsible he stopped the cruise at dot 5 PM and left for his home ,we hardly enjoyed cruise ride, TV was not working , washrooms were dirty, rooms were suffocating and stinking .In the morning we checked out early and have to pay auto charges on our own to have drop at the drivers pick up point as cruise driver was unavailable. Ideally drop should have been arranged by cruise team. As per the itinerary, we were supposed to have candle light dinner but no arrangements were done for it. We just spent one day their without any memories and enjoyment. Kochi, Munnar and Tekkady hotels were good and as per our expectations. We will rate them 4* as per the services and hospitality provided. Ocean Bay Resort will be rated as 2* and Butterfly Cruise which was arranged for us as 1*. Driver friendliness and proper guidance and support throughout the trip. He made our journey happening.

    • Trip to Munnar

House boat is basic just basic even the honeymoon inclusions just sucks. Candle light dinner means they just keep one deepa with oil in middle of a room. Cake means they have got a plum cake from a normal bakery without a name or mention on it. So house boat is just an average experience but remaining hotels are good in ambience. Food is not so great in spice jungle it is just average. Should also mention about the driver assigned to us. He doesn't know itenarary, he doesn't know who will pay for him. This shows a bad co co ordination between driver, his representative and our holiday agent. I pushed him alot to make him drive to the places that are there in the plan. Overall it's just an average experience with travel triangle. Not so great. Could be definitely a better one if they handled it in a better manner. Munnar is the best. Elephant camp in thekkady is also a memorable one. Jungle cruise is just time waste. Houseboat is new but not a great experience

I had recently booked a family trip to Munnar from SK Holidays. Take my word, don't go by the number of reviews they have or the rating they have. Just book with them. The officials are extremely helpful. Both Khushbu and Shobit have been very helpful in arranging and planning the entire trip very well. The package and quote they provide is the best compared to all other agents. Everything was arranged perfectly. Definitely allow SK Holidays to plan your trip. They are too good. Thanks again to Khushbu and Shobit :)

    • Trip to Munnar

I had a wonderful experience in Kerala in terms of place , travels but just want to add one suggestion. Please book hotels more carefully even if package includes 3 star hotels but there were much better hotels in Kovalam and Thekkady which were 3-star on same price with a slight variation. Because I have faced little issue with hotels only specially in Kovalam that they had only 10% of things which were mentioned in their menu and food taste service was below average. Rest all of the hotels we're good and our driver was very cooperative and sweet. Also Jipson coordinated very well during travel whenever required. Only bad part was Kovalam stay, I am disappointed with that. Houseboat was an awesome experience for me. I loved the service by all of the 3 staff on houseboat, they were really cooperative and sweet. Had a great time in Munnar stay i.e. lake n hills resort - their staff is also good and food was awesome. Overall had a great time in Kerala. Will try to come again for sure
