As one treks upwards, the surrounding mist in the morning and greenery offers a breathtaking sight. Amused by monkeys sitting near the water bodies, one gets an opportunity to revel in the stunning views of the picturesque landscape, diverse flora and fauna and feel rejuvenated. Another famous spot for trekking in Indore is the Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary. Comprising of a luscious vegetation, beautiful and lonely trails and a variety of sites and sounds, a track here offers a refreshing experience. Apart from the stunning greenery, one can also observed up to 50 species of birds as the trek through the trail. A view of the green meeting the blue at the horizon as one reaches the end of the trail is as rewarding as it is breathtaking.
Adventure sports in Indore are also available for those seeking thrill at the Safari Adventure Park on their Indore trip. Ranging from a picnic in the verdant surroundings, rope activities guided by experts, a walk on the low or high ropes, to a trek along the trails admiring the stretches of green and listening to various sounds of birds and animals in the forests, one can choose from a plethora of activities at this park. A campfire at night in the midst of nature in all untamed beauty is perfect for bonding with your loved ones on an Indore trip. The Pipliyapala regional park is another fun thing to do in Indore. Covering the lake and large stretch of land surrounding it, one can enjoy nature at its best here. Drift on the lake on a boat, try to find a way out of the maze, gaze at the dancing fountain and the mist fountain, admire the folk traditions of the artist village and spend quality time with your family, friends and loved ones.
A tour of the Indore Museum provides an Insight into the historical journey and cultural traditions of Madhya Pradesh. It is filled with beautiful collections of Hindu and Jain sculptures dating from the Gupta to paramara periods.
The sound and light show at Rajwada is also quite popular among the tourists. The narrative of the show tells us about the honkers and their wives To The Throne and their subsequent demise. Arunabha's 10 days trip to IndoreGwalior: Hotel Landmark A professional hotel that provided standard room and substantial breakfast, however the restaurant food quality is not good. Tourists generally prefer homely food. Also tired senior citizens would prefer to have dinner at the hotel. Tourists also prefer to have a window to look out of. Orchha: Hotel Nilayam Heritage - No heritage at all. New small irregular hotel with rooms on the ground floor and a sparcely provided dining hall for breakfast only on first floor. Packed Breakfast only Aloo paratha. Nothing else. Khajuraho: Hotel Isabel Palace - Good hotel. Food quality good although much delayed. Bandhavgarh: Tiger Trails Resort: Good professionally maintained Resort with excellent service. Amarkantak: Hotel The Residency - Totally unprofessional. Poor service. Rude front desk. Had to leave shoes outside before entering reception. Monkeys disturb the TV antenna therefore TV never in order. No lift with dining/breakfast on the 2nd floor. No view to the outside from groundfloor room. Room with bed view of toilet. Leaking commode shower. Stiff flush tap. Attendant barge into room without knocking. No buffet. Stingy with breakfast. Do not serve as per order even in presence of Hotel owner in spite of repeated request. Jabalpur: Hotel Rahul. Good hotel. Professional service. Good food. Bandhavgarh Tiger Trail Resort.
