Also known as the commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh, Indore is the largest and the most densely populated city in Central India. Founded by Rao Nandlal Choudhary on the banks of river Khan and Saraswati in mid-1710, Indore is known for its architectural splendor. Built in 1903 by India's industrial pioneer Seth hukumchand Jain, this temple is renowned for housing several glass paintings and sculptures. For the nature lovers, Indore sightseeing offers two major attractions namely the Patalpani waterfall and the Kamla Nehru Park. Located 35 km away from the city patalpani waterfalls is a wonderful creation of nature, attracting tourists in large numbers. Water falling down from a height of 150 feet especially during the monsoon season when it is at its full strength, captures the heart of tourists. Kamla Nehru Park is one of the oldest parks out of Indore destinations. Most popularly known as Chidiya Ghar, this Park houses various animals species including Birds, amphibians, carnivores, and omnivores. The white tigress and her cubs are a major attraction here along with the elephant, camel and pony rides especially for kids. It has been successful in breathing white tigers, The Royal Bengal Tiger, white peacocks and Himalayan bears since it was established in 1974.
