Debaleena's 8 days trip to SingaporeAlthough the places we visited were really beautiful, coordination with ASAP was a pain. Planning is definitely not their strong suite and it shows at all stages of hand-off. The Travel Triangle team, although with their own faults were far more responsive than ASAP team. The simplest of processes became repetitive and cumbersome because of lack of foresight and planning from ASAP. Starting from operations briefing to visa processing (which was doubly complicated by 3 different submissions) and finally on-ground coordination - I found them lacking at all stages. One ray of sunshine was the last mile execution - the local travel agencies ASAP partnered with were quite professional and flexible. Positives: 1. Hotels were quite good. I have heard/read reviews where agencies book different hotels than were promised which are worse in quality. No such mishaps here. Although more information on the hotels should have been briefed. For example, the fact that they collect security deposits and would eat up 80% of the currencies I withdraw would have been a good information to have before we started the trip. 2. Cabs were comfortable especially with several senior citizens in our team. We did not have to worry about the quality of the transport. Although drivers were grumpy and sometimes improperly briefed. 3. Almost all tickets/bookings were correct and done in advance. Except the last day where they goofed up in Kuala Lumpur, the rest of the trip was managed correctly on ground 4. I believe the price was competitive. Do not claim to have a lot of knowledge on this front but this is the feeling I get after talking to friends and colleagues Negatives: 1. Zero planning. The sales team does not know about operations but refuse to connect us to operations before we have only little number of days left. 2. Visa team is woefully unaware of any rules and regulations pertaining to the visa process in case anything is a little different from the status quo. The company they had outsourced the visa process to was knowledgeable though and therefore everything finally worked out but not before by blood pressure reached record-level high. 3. Once they had supplied the itineraries to the local partner agencies, they sort of washed their hands off. Although they kept saying that they will coordinate, nothing happened from their sides. The local agencies themselves were more proactive in solving clashes and mistakes done by ASAP 4. No respect for others' time. Their process is completely screwed up - the hand-off processes do not work. Any movement needs multiple follow-ups and threats of legal repercussions
Chaithanyaa's 5 days trip to SingaporeMy fourth trip with travel triangle and second international trip ... Inspite of having a good trip, need to put in few points that i have experienced with travel triangle and holiday episode... My requirements were clear from day one of the trip booking...as i was travelling with my parents, wife and a four year old son, i wanted this trip to be a smooth one...to make it very smooth i gave all the freedom to the agent to guide me regarding the trip and also book the flight tickets... It appears the holiday episode travel agency are highly immatured in terms of travel planning and coordinating... All the Singapore hotels check in is at 2pm,,,if you are reaching early its your headache.... I have been in contact with the agent and kept asking him to confirm our early check in...they could have booked our flight by noon on the previous day or the same day and would have guided us better.. Inspite of contacting the travel triangle agents they couldnt handle this and gave me the worst experience ever...the holiday episode guys have booked a room in Value hotel thompson at singapore with the hotel's review being very bad in trip advisor...i asked for a change of hotel and was accommodated at days wyndham singapore, that does not entertain early check in.. the agent kept arguing with me to get into value hotel thompson..if we needed early check in... Travel triangle agents couldnt do anything and were apologising for booking the flight tickets early because of which early check in couldnt be arranged...finally after paying 2,75,000 INR i had to pay rs.4000/- again for an early check for one room and no complimentary break fast was arranged and we didnt have an idea abt this.... The holiday episode guys have delayed and carried the confirmation vouchers till the nth moment giving us lot of stress... Singapore visa reached us just a day before travel inspite of paying them advance almost a month back...scheduled itinetary was not in place and had to keep asking them repeatedly for that...we received it on the day of travel... We were in the universal studios and didnt have entry tickets...had to ping them on whatsapp group, and then the tickets were sent... We reached Kuala Lumpur , Ibis style hotel and there we learn we need to pay 40 Malaysian ringetts for travel tax, that was not mentioned before...when i spike to the agent, he said we need to pay and that does not need to be told...40 ringetts is a small amount but still needs to be mentioned when travelling abroad ..something like hidden charges from the agent....after yelling at the agent that he was responsible for the entire accommodation, over an international call, the amount was later refunded after we reached india.. The trip would have been better without these hiccups...ibis style and days hotel by wyndham are all boutique hotels especially designed for tourists from abroad..food was ok... Water was not provided by the agent except in malaysia where 500ml of water was provided for a day per person...my earlier trips did so...i have no idea if that is done by other agencies.. Positives from the trip, we did enjoy n had a good family time Night safari, universal studios, jenting highlands
Hari's 5 days trip to MalaysiaWe traveled to Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur 4 Nights and 5 days. Myra vacation planners coordinated very well for customization of the trip. Got very prompt response in each step, which is the best part of our planning. the trip was very memorable and all our family members enjoyed the tour,
Hina's 7 days trip to MalaysiaThank you for planning our trip. IBIS Kuala Lumpur does not have very good service or food. That was the only hotel I didn't like much.
Shyamali's 7 days trip to SingaporeWe went on vacation to Singapore & Malasia in June through Travel Triangle’s partner Rocking trips.Totally satisfied with the RT team of Lisa,Harman & Anshuman who took great care of planning and executing our trip in such organized manner that we are all praise for them. Their Singapore Team was superb and Malasia counterpart also good. Thanks for the great Hotels provided ..Yotel at Singapore and Arenaa Star at KL. While Yotel with its great Breakfast spread and two robots- Yoshi & Yolanda took our breath away, Arenaa Star with its proximity to most of the Tourist places was simply great to stay at. The thing that I must not forget is that watching KL tower from our Hotel room window especially at nights…Also thanks RT for giving one entire leisure day on our last day.We have only great feedback for you guys. Now coming to travel triangle. We palnned the trip due to one executive named Damini Oberai whose proactiveness made us decide faster .However, midway our trip coordinator was changed to Vaishali Goyal whose attitude was so casual that we were on the point of cancelling the entire trip and going on our own. It’s when we started giving copy of all our mails to email@example.com , that things were on track. Wish Travel Triangle would take care of their executives in dealing with customers in prompt manner. Finally what matters is that we had a fantastic trip due to their partner Rocking Trips and their counterparts at Singapore & Malasia. We loved the experience and covered all the important places in Singapore and Malaysia in very good package. We appreciate RT’s support ,guidance and timely response all the time and would love to recommend RT in travel triangle. Way to go ! Thank you Rocking trips for making our Singapore & Kuala Lumpur so very special & amazing. Right after Travel Triangle connected us to you,it was a smooth journey. Thanks, Liza for listening to all our itsy bitsy queries on calls & WhatsApp anytime of the day. Thanks Anshuman for solving the Visa Blues. And how can I forget Harman for being connected with us all the time, even when we needed some help while in KL.Your team truly rocks! Will surely recommend others to take many more holidays with You. Way to go!!!
Satya's 7 days trip to MalaysiaWe were 2 families and our trip was to Singapore, Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur. With the exception of a few niggles, overall the trip was organized well and tailored to meet our needs. Shalu from Kushark was very helpful with the planning and keenly took minute care of the schedule planning. Thank you for the good trip Shalu.
Titiksh's 11 days trip to BaliA comprehensive package of 11 days with excellent service at best price. Thanks to Mr. Anmol from Incrible Travels. Things to remember: 1. Stay at Vrindavan Ubud Villa 2. Sea walker and Adventure Paraslailing 3. Cable car ride to Genting Highland 4. Cruise 5. Candle light dinner 6. Sunway Lagoon 7. Spa Service : 1. All drivers were quite good and friendly - James from Kuala Lumpur, Kadek and Putu from Bali 2. About Airlines - Malindo provides free food and water, Indigo provides only free water whereas AirAsia even charges for water. Quality and Service of Malindo was best. Do Include Checkin Luggage while flight booking. Suggestions: 1. Kintamani Volcano is not visible after 5 pm, cover it in Morning 2. For couple parasaling include adventure parasailing. Upgradation cost from Normal to Couple parasailing at site is 40 USD per person. During our visit water sports service provider was providing some simple boat ride instead of normal parasailing, under the name of wind conditions. 3. For veg food in Kuala Lumpur, Sangeeta is good option. 4. We had International Visa Debit card, withdrawal fron Maybank ATM was at best conversion rate.
Hassanalhilal's 5 days trip to MalaysiaHi Travel Traingle Team, Thank you very much for the fun and memorable trip that I had in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur & Langkawi) via Travel Triangle. Everything was very well organized, arranged professionally and worked out well for me. The communications of your team was excellent and very much impressed with the arrangements that they had arranged for me including airline tickets, hotel stay, transportation, tour itinery, visa process etc in such a short period of time.. The WhatsApp team were exceptionally active throughout the trip and gave us an immediate responses on time to time basis. Regarding tour itinery, The tour consultants covered all places as per the itinery and took us into the diversity of Malaysia. I witnessed many different things including forests, national parks, theme parks, islands, city tours, rivers, skyscrapers, beaches, malls, streets, markets, night lifes etc. I will give you the brief details of the places later which I have visited on each day. There was a good amount of activity on each day with not too much down time. Just enough to keep up my journal. The hotel stay in KL was lovely & clean and it’s very close to Chowkit monorail station which really helped me to explore the night life of KL city without spending much expenses on transportation, but not very impressed with the hotel stay in Langkawi. It’s a kind of an above average hotel stay in langkawi and sad part is it’s far away from Langkawi town, but this hotel had a very good scenic beauty with swimming pool facing towards mountains and rivers. Initially you guys promised me the stay in Adya Hotel which I preferred to stay, I followed up many of your team mates, but unfortunately they couldn’t make it. But both accommodations are far exceeded than my expectations, very good breakfast including Indian dishes and very friendly staffs. The good part is both the hotels allows me to do early check-in which really helped me for getting good sleep and aside from the actual trip I got an additional day to explore the city on my own. The best part of the trip was the tours & activities in Langkawi. Absolutely - definitely I will be recommending your tours and I will also be taking another in the future. Thank you so much for well organized & wonderful trip. It’s always a memorable one. Thank you once again.
