After having breakfast in the hotel at Barkot, you will set out to Yamunotri. There is a Garam Pani Kund here where you can cook rice and take it as ‘Prasad’. The Yamuna River originates from the Champasar Glacier. It might be a tough job to offer the Aarti and other rituals in the place. Still, you can do it upon your name and the Gotra. After you have finished the breakfast in Barkot, check-out the hotel and leave Uttarkashi. It is one of the main cities in the state of Uttarakhand. The rivers of Varuna and Ashi flow from either side of the mountain city. You can have some good time of leisure here after offering the Pooja to Lord Shiva. The almighty Lord is present here as Vishwanath. The Annapurna and the Bhairav Temple are also present here which you can witness. The seventh day of the trip will start as you have your breakfast in the hotel of Sitapur and check-out from it. You will reach to the Gaurikund which acts as the base camp of the Kedarnath trek.
