About Haridwar Tourism

Embark on a voyage to Haridwar in Uttarakhand, and grab a chance to experience extreme devotion towards the Almighty. Haridwar tourism brings every visitor closer to the essence of this city, which dwells in the ritualistic cultures and symmetrical traditions. Haridwar tour guide would suggest its visitors to witness the ever-popular Ganga Aarti, which is one of a kind in the entire country. After the completion of worshipping River Ganga, the devotees offer flower garlands and join hands in the various temples situated here.

Religious Significance

The intermixing of the waters of four holy rivers – Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath flowing over its plains has been attracting people since time, immemorial. A Haridwar tour unfolds the religious significance of the pious pilgrim site which is the beginning of the Char Dham Yatra. Every year lakhs of pilgrims begin the Yatra from here to seek spirituality. According to the Hindu mythology, few droplets of an elixir which had fallen from the Amrit Manthan is the reason for the enchanted environ of this place. Since then, the most celebrated Kumbh Mela has been decorating the banks of the Nagdwara every year, which is the prime source of attraction of tourism in Haridwar.

Haridwar tour guide lists the most sacred ghat of Har ki Pauri situated at the Brahma Kund as the prime pilgrim site, and the most important Haridwar tourist place where devotees stand in the holy waters of Ganga and worship God with folded hands.

Besides the pious ghats at the banks of Gangotri, Haridwar harbors many historical monuments, museums, ashrams and is famous for its unscathed traditions. Haridwar tourism is all about visiting every temple which studs this Indo–Gangetic plain.

Trip was customised as per our requirements. The coordination from travel agent could have been definitely better. There was a bit of lack of communication from their team. We also booked additional package of Rishikesh (9th Jan) with them outside of Travel Triangle which was highly unorganised an
d no written confirmation on cost and inclusions. Should have booked additional package via TravelTriangle for better options.

Overall the Holiday Booking experience was above average with Travel Triangle. I would list out some concerns that we faced during our vacation. 1. Vehicle Type & Quality- We were assigned a Dezire Car which had CNG fitted inside. Because of this we were unable to keep any of our luggage inside the
boot space. Had to keep all the Luggages on top , and every time there was rain it was inconvenience to put tarpaulin. Secondly because of CNG , every time a refilling was needed all the passengers had to step out of the vehicle which was again inconvenient and uncomfortable. 2. Guidance about the Holiday Destinations: A better guidance was needed from the Holiday planner about the choices of the places we had selected in our itinerary. We were not able to cover 2 places in our itinerary because of excessive hilly terrain throughout the route. We had to modify our trip with additional costs incurred by us. Also no refund was provided for the Hotels which we couldn't stay and for the Journey distance which was reduced.
